Institutional responsibilities of Wenzhou Sports Bureau
(a) to implement the national and provincial guidelines and policies on sports work; Guide and promote the reform of sports system; Formulate the city's sports development strategy, formulate long-term development plans for sports undertakings, and organize their implementation; Formulate relevant policies for sports work in the whole city.

(two) to guide the implementation of the outline of the national fitness plan, guide and coordinate all departments, industries and social organizations to actively carry out mass sports activities, implement the national physical exercise standards, and carry out national physical fitness monitoring.

(three) responsible for planning and organizing the city games, provincial games, city games and all kinds of major competitions; Responsible for guiding the construction of advantageous events and sports teams, and cultivating and transporting potential reserve talents of competitive sports.

(four) the management of sports foreign affairs, and actively carry out international sports cooperation and exchanges with Hongkong, Macao Special Administrative Region and Taiwan Province Province.

(five) to cultivate and develop the sports industry, study and formulate sports industry policies, and manage the sports market under centralized management; Cooperate with relevant departments to plan and coordinate the layout of sports facilities.

(six) to organize and guide physical education, scientific research and publicity, to train sports management cadres and professionals, and to be responsible for the ideological and political construction of sports teams and the legal system construction in the field of sports.

(seven) to guide, coordinate and inspect the sports work of counties (cities, districts) and units directly under the municipal government.

(eight) responsible for the qualification examination of the city's sports associations, and manage the fitness qigong according to law.

(nine) to undertake other tasks assigned by the municipal government and the provincial sports bureau.
