First of all, the role of dance itself
1. Dance is a comprehensive art, which integrates collective ability, artistic ability, intellectual ability and temperament, and promotes the quality of teenagers in all aspects. However, in the aesthetic education system of primary and secondary school education syllabus implemented in China today, there are only two kinds: music and art. With the development of society and the improvement of people's living standards, dance courses (such as bodybuilding courses) are only offered in large-scale primary and secondary schools in some big cities, while most schools in most areas have not yet offered special dance courses. Dance education is a very unique education, and its role in primary and secondary schools is not available in other disciplines. In primary education, dance education can better and more vividly cultivate students' moral character, improve students' physical quality, develop students' intelligence and performance ability, and let primary school students perceive and express beauty. In the actual teaching process, teachers should pay attention to some practical problems, so as to better play their role, while in middle schools, students are in all aspects. The training, performance and creation of students in dance education can develop students' potential and ability in all aspects, and let middle school students know, feel and express beauty with their heart. Similarly, teachers should grasp students' psychology and adopt "appreciation education" to make dance play a full role in students' growth. In short, popularizing dance education in primary and secondary schools can better promote students' physical and mental development, so that students can truly feel beauty, know beauty, understand beauty and express beauty in dance.
2. Dance can enhance physical fitness, change bad posture and make its movements harmonious and beautiful. Children's bodies are in a period of rapid growth and development, and their metabolism is vigorous. The structure and function of various tissues and organs in the body have great development potential and plasticity. In the physical training of dance, both positive and negative aspects are generally carried out, so the left and right sides of the body develop in a balanced way. The roles of men and women in dance are different, which is in line with the feminine characteristics of men and women. Dance with melodious or unrestrained music can be favored by children.
3. Dance training makes students change from passive to active, and cultivates students' self-control, self-sustaining ability and willpower. Children are curious, active, love to imitate and perform dance lessons, which can meet the above characteristics. The study of expressive dance makes students pay great efforts and sweat, and every movement needs repeated training and efforts, which can cultivate students' confidence and strength to overcome difficulties and exercise their will quality.
4. Dance makes children's personality develop well. Modern families are mostly only children, which is a manifestation of social progress, but it also causes the problem of difficult education for only children. Some only children are withdrawn, overbearing and self-centered, which are not good qualities of socialist successors. Through dance rehearsal, it strengthens its organization and discipline, because group dance must cooperate with others and help each other equally, thus eliminating students' individual specialization psychology.
5. Dance can enhance the sense of collective honor. Children dance usually takes groups as units, and then rehearses performances to form certain groups. The success of the rehearsal performance of a dance program is achieved through the concerted efforts of everyone in Qi Xin, which can enhance the collective centripetal force and be proud of the collective success. According to the law of learning transfer, the collective sense of honor formed in dance rehearsal can be transferred to the class collective, the school collective, and even the collective sense of honor of a nation or a country.
6. Appreciating excellent dance can improve students' aesthetic ability, establish national self-esteem awareness, feel the charm of national dance, understand the cultural charm of national dance, broaden their horizons, unite people of all ethnic groups, preserve national music and dance culture, and carry it forward on the basis of inheritance, thus achieving the purpose of patriotism education.
7. The creation and arrangement of impromptu dance can cultivate students' sensitivity to music and emotional expression, and various things such as memory, thinking, imagination and creativity can also be exercised in it, so that children can enjoy themselves, express their thoughts and feelings, return to their nature and develop their personality.
Based on the various educational functions of dance, we introduce it into the music classroom, making it interrelated and closely coordinated, making it more suitable for the development requirements of primary school students. Students are influenced by music while learning dance. To some extent, dance is also used to explain music. To borrow the words of Wu Zuqiang, a famous musician in China, "In a sense, in the art of dance, music is the voice of dance, dance is the form of music, and it is one of the most beautiful artistic imagination products that tangibly reflect people's command." On the road of practice this year, several music teachers have unconsciously acquired artistic accomplishment and improved their level, and an artistic aesthetic is gradually taking shape. At the same time, students also feel their own changes and cultivate self-confidence. Now music lessons are liked by more students and praised by teachers in other schools.
Russian composer Stravinsky once said: "Music without action is unimaginable." Thus, music and dance are inseparable.
Second, the importance of dance in music education
1. Dance, especially folk dance, is a way to understand the customs and manners of a country and a nation, and also a way to learn artistic style and broaden one's horizons. Some movements and footwork in dance are simple, concise and easy to master. It has the characteristics of improvisation and strong variability. Dance can do all kinds of improvisation under the general pace, movement and rhythm. The performance form is free, you can sing and dance, and the image is vivid and vivid. These characteristics are consistent with the form of body rhythm. Orff believes that rhythm in music is more basic than melody, and the combination of rhythm, figure and dance action can be called dance. As a musical element, rhythm plays a central role in dance, so it can be said that rhythm is the soul of dance. National dance has a typical rhythm and strong national characteristics, which is of great benefit to children's sense of rhythm, coordination and expressiveness.
2. After dance enters the music classroom, it not only enriches the teaching content and reforms the teaching structure, but also improves the students' musical quality, develops their intelligence and cultivates their innovative ability by combining the teaching materials. Summing up the teaching practice, we get the following enlightenment.
(1) The teaching content of any music lesson should not make children feel difficult, but make them feel that learning is a very interesting thing and they can cooperate happily with teachers. Interest can stimulate students' learning enthusiasm and improve learning efficiency. For example, when learning the song "Little Dragonfly", the teacher makes up some simple dance movements, such as waves, so that students can read the lyrics and practice the movements themselves. This way, the information feedback is quick and the form is lively, which can arouse the interest of every child and is suitable for the characteristics of children's physical and mental development.
The introduction of folk dance into music class has changed the old and rigid singing teaching mode, and enabled students to experience and feel music in a cheerful atmosphere, thus reducing the learning pressure and stimulating students' enthusiasm for learning music. The combination of excellent national dances and song teaching of all ethnic groups in China enables students to understand and love the music culture of the motherland, enhance national consciousness and patriotism, and carry forward the national music culture.
(2) The combination of music and dance improves students' musical literacy.
Combining dance teaching in music classroom teaching is not only to teach children dance movements, but also to let children gradually understand the music world while learning dance. For example, in the music knowledge teaching of the fifth volume "Knowing Beats 2/4 and 3/4", by calling the names of children or flowers, birds and insects, combined with momentum, dance games and sketch exercises, children can have a clear concept of different beats in music. A beautiful and accurate
Dance action demonstration can arouse children's great interest in dance, and the perfect combination of music and dance in songs makes them excited. When teaching dance in music class, when children master the movements they have learned, don't be busy with music. For example, in the teaching of "Golden Peacock Jumping Gently", students are first taught several groups of Dai dance movements, and then they are allowed to sit down quietly and listen to the whole song. After listening, the teacher and the students analyze together, so that the children can have a preliminary impression of the basic melody, speed and mood of the song, and finally listen to the teacher's piano. In this way, children gradually understand that music and dance are "good friends" and form a good habit of listening to music and doing actions.
At present, art education in kindergartens, primary schools and middle schools in China, that is, art education as a compulsory course, is mainly music and art, while dance education is mainly arranged in the teaching content of kindergartens and has received more attention. Other schools at all levels, such as primary and secondary schools, rarely participate in dance teaching content (generally only play a decorative role in music classes), and dance education mostly only appears in extracurricular interest groups and literary societies. Dance is always in an auxiliary position.
But the role of dance in primary education is very obvious, which should be beyond doubt. Dance is indispensable for children's day, get-together and music evening. Moreover, according to my observation, dance competitions in primary schools are one after another, not only for students, but also for teachers, not only in urban schools, but also in rural schools. This has caused great pressure on music teachers and students, because the dance quality of teachers is not high, and so are students. This requires that music education should be improved to adapt to the development of the times.
I really want to bring new light to music education after I set foot on the post of music teacher. There are still many feelings that can't be finished. In a word, dance and music are two independent and closely related branches of art, dance is visible music and music is the soul of dance. In primary school art education, it is an immediate and feasible teaching method to open a teaching class between art class and music class in combination with music and dance teaching. It is a subject worthy of every music teacher to try and explore.
Chapter II: Summary of Dance Teaching Practice: I majored in dance in college, and I must first trace back to my academic achievements in high school. When I was in high school, my academic performance was not good, and there was little hope of being admitted to college by cultural courses. In order to go to college, I have to find another way. Finally, I thought I was a good dancer, and I learned it before, so I started my dance major.
Because of my good dance skills, I learned quickly and passed the professional exam quickly. After that, I started the college entrance examination and successfully entered the university.
I am a major in Normal University. I want to be a dance teacher after graduation. Soon, after two years of college, I can also be an intern teacher. After looking for many schools, one school finally opened a dance class, and I can also give them lessons, which is also a relearning of my dancing ability. I summarized my work during my internship as follows:
First, the harvest of dance teaching
It is easy to be a teacher, but difficult to be a good teacher. Everything is trivial except preparing lessons and attending classes. Some people say that teachers work hard. I think it makes sense. Being a teacher doesn't require much ability, but it is extremely meticulous. Just like an artist's work, it really takes some time to perfect his work.
Through the dance teaching during my internship, I found that when teaching new dances, I should not rush into it. Be sure to explain the requirements, specifications and essentials of the action step by step and formulate effective practice steps. According to the teaching principle from simple to complex, students should first be familiar with the music rhythm, then the movement practice, and finally the emotional expression. In action practice, the combined action is decomposed into a single action, and the more difficult single action is also decomposed into a local action (upper limb or lower limb action). For example, when teaching the first paragraph of the third set of fitness yangko, I let the students get familiar with the music and accurately grasp the rhythm, then break down the dance movements into individual movements, first teach the movements of lower limbs and feet, then teach the movements of upper limbs fans and handkerchiefs, and then combine the two to learn and train expressions. In the process of training, we should also pay attention to the scientific nature of training-the amount and range of exercise are in line with the physiological characteristics of students of different ages, and we should train moderately.
Second, the understanding of political theory has improved.
In order to improve the overall quality of the whole staff, the bureau leaders organized the overall study of current affairs and politics, and put forward that "in today's era, culture has increasingly become an important source of national cohesion and creativity, an important factor in the competition of comprehensive national strength, and enriching spiritual and cultural life has increasingly become the eager desire of our people." We must adhere to the orientation of advanced socialist culture, raise a new upsurge of socialist cultural construction, stimulate the creative vitality of the whole nation's culture, improve the country's cultural soft power, better protect people's basic cultural rights and interests, enrich social and cultural life, and make people's mental outlook more high-spirited. "This makes me know that the backbone of literature and art is the most active, influential and cohesive organizer and demonstrator. Strengthen the function of self-hematopoiesis, speed up the construction of cultural industry, and create positive and healthy literary and artistic works.
Third, the harvest of festival activities:
In order to create a rich festival cultural atmosphere, we and the staff of the cultural center have carefully organized cultural activities, and we are fortunate to be a member of the counseling group of the cultural center. The Spring Festival series of cultural activities is the top priority of mass cultural work every year. In order to ensure the smooth completion of the activities, we set up a series of activities leading groups. At the same time, strengthen the staff of the counseling department. The leading group is fully responsible for the planning, organization and implementation of a series of activities, and implements all the work in each office, and the responsibility lies with people. A series of activities were held due to effective organizational guarantee measures.
Fourthly, it enriches the theory of folk art knowledge.
During the internship, with the help of the instructor, in addition to earnestly completing the tasks assigned by the bureau leaders, I also learned folk arts with a long history such as social fire activities and duet. I have a preliminary understanding of the time, place, content and form of folk social fire activities, and have a simple grasp of the rhythm, dance action characteristics and style characteristics of duet, which makes up for my lack of knowledge in folk art.
Two months passed silently with a flick of a finger, and it was at this time that I suddenly realized that when it was time to go back and summarize, the days passed in a hurry. A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. The short and substantial internship of more than two months made me truly realize the hardship as a cultural worker and the pleasure and responsibility as a dance teacher, which made my teaching experience get a qualitative leap and learned a lot of knowledge that books can't learn. At the same time, it plays a bridge and transitional role in society. It is an important experience, an important step in life, and it will also be of great help to my future work. After graduating from college, the life under siege was quite awkward at first, but now it has gradually become natural. Maybe this should be a kind of happiness, or maybe it should be a sigh. Who knows? Looking back on more than two months' work, I was nervous, novel and gained a lot.
Maybe many years later, when I grow up to be a dance teacher, I look back at today's internship and feel that I must be very funny. Although I don't know much about my professional knowledge, I still teach others. But now I think this internship is a valuable asset in my life. It is through this internship that I know my own shortcomings. I can better correct my shortcomings and realize my professional ability.
I will practice again in the next school year, and every internship has a good harvest. Why not? I will better correct myself and realize my dream!
