Xining Gymnasium is located on the Nanchuan River southwest of the west entrance of Xining city center in Qinghai Province. Completed and put into use on 1982. Xining gymnasium covers an area of 40,000 square meters.
This is a sports building with a height of 35 meters, a ground floor length of 68 meters and a width of 56 meters. The main building area is 1 1064 square meters, which can accommodate more than 8,000 spectators. It is one of the largest gymnasiums in the northwest of China.
