Longyang Neighborhood Committee of Longyang Community, Tangqiao Street, Pudong New Area, Shanghai was established in July 2006. The community consists of Qiaodun Garden, Shen Xin Apartment and COSCO Longyang Apartment, with Yanggao South Road in the east, Longyang Road in the south, East Huanlong Road in the west and Pujian Road in the north. It is composed of experts from Qiaodun Garden, Xinsheng Home and COSCO. There are 1358 households with a population of about 3068. Community residents come from all corners of the country, including foreigners from many countries and compatriots from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Residents from other provinces and cities account for 30%, and residents with college education or above account for 58.5% of the total number.

In view of the higher educational background of community residents and more new Shanghainese, the neighborhood committee issued the concept of "building a harmonious and warm Longyang and seeking common prosperity for people's livelihood", set up various cultural and sports teams and carried out a series of activities to enhance friendship through exchanges. The fitness dance team in the community once represented the street of the 8 th anniversary of the reform and opening up in Pudong New Area/KLOC-0. On the eve of the "May 1" and "Eleventh" holidays every year, the community will hold large-scale service activities for the people, focusing on serving residents. The children's playground in the community attracts many Chinese and foreign children in the surrounding communities.
