Preparation conditions

Download AirDroid Cast on computer and mobile phone.

At present, AirDroid Cast supports the projection of Android phones to computers in the following two ways.

Wireless remote screen projection computer

By scanning the QR code or entering the projection code, you can wirelessly project your Android phone to the computer, even if your Android phone and the computer are not in the same place.

1, Android phone launches screen projection.

Open the AirDroid Cast on the computer and the mobile phone respectively, scan the QR code or enter the projection code to start the projection.

Precautions for the first screen projection:

The first time you use AirDroid Cast for screen projection, an authorization window for recording rights will pop up (allowing AirDroid to make calls or record locally). In order to ensure the normal use of voice projection and two-way call function, please allow authorization according to the prompt.

2. Allow screen projection requests on the computer.

After the Android phone initiates the screen projection, a screen projection window pops up requesting "Do you want to allow device xxx to project the screen on the current computer?" Will appear on the computer. Click Allow (if you don't want this request to appear every time you filter, please check the "Trust the device and don't ask again" option).

3. Turn on the screen projection permission on the Android phone.

After the computer allows the screen projection request, a screen projection permission page will appear on the Android side: "AirDroid Cast will start intercepting all the content displayed on your screen". Please click "Open Now" and follow the prompts to authorize.

note:

If you see the "Don't prompt again" option in the pop-up window of screen projection permission, it is recommended to check it, so that there will be no pop-up window next time.

If you don't find the "Don't prompt again" option in the pop-up window of screen projection permission, it means that this option has been removed by Android, which is the limitation of Android. As an application developer, AirDroid has no right to control this option (usually this option will be removed by Android 10 and some specially customized Android systems).

4. Wireless remote screen projection is successful, and you can see the picture of Android phone on the computer!

USB direct-connected screen projection computer

The USB direct connection mode supports the mobile phone to project the high-definition screen to the computer through the USB data cable without delay. The advantage of this method is that the projected screen has no delay and high definition, which is suitable for connecting computers and mobile phones with UBS cable!

1. Connect the Android phone to the computer via USB cable.

2. Click on the Android phone in the list of available phones.

note:

If the prompt "Android phone connection started" appears, it means that the USB debugging option of your phone is not turned on. Please turn on USB debugging according to the prompt. Different brands of mobile phones have slightly different ways to start USB debugging.

If you can't connect your phone or start USB debugging, you can send a private message or comment.

3. After the connection is successful, the screen of Android phone will appear on the computer.
