【 Twelve-hour Health Sutra 】 Get up at 12 o'clock.
Shi Mao refers to the time when the sun rises gradually from 05: 00 to 07: 00, so it is also called "dawn" and "rising sun", which refers to the time when the sun just appears and rises.

As we know, twelve hours of the day correspond to the twelve meridians and Shi Mao (5: 00 ~ 7: 00) of the human body to take the large intestine meridian. If you can cooperate with the "meridian column", you can form the habit of sleeping at 2 1: 00 ~ 22: 00 (falling asleep at 23:00 at the latest) and getting up at dawn, so as to keep the functions of various organs in the best state.

We know that the quality of sleep varies from person to person. When office workers wake up in the morning, some people feel relaxed and energetic; Some people feel weak all over, their muscles are weak and lazy, and they are more tired than before going to bed; And some people are awake after sleeping, but their limbs can't move, and it will take a long time to get better.

Originally, the best way to maintain a good mental state and overcome difficulties is to sleep, but the situation of most office workers is just the opposite. No matter how I sleep, I still feel weak after waking up, and I feel as if I have never slept. Why do you sleep more and more sleepy and feel weak after waking up? How to solve this series of sleep problems? The solution of traditional Chinese medicine is to start with both qi and blood.

First of all, Chinese medicine believes that the liver governs the drainage and blood storage, and the drainage function of the liver has the function of regulating emotions. When we rest or sleep, the demand for blood in various organs decreases, and the blood is stored in the liver. Once the body is active and the demand for blood increases, the liver will discharge the stored blood to meet the needs of life activities. Therefore, the dysfunction of liver blood storage will affect the normal activities of the body (such as fatigue) and cause various diseases.

Secondly, the spleen governs transport and transformation, which is the source of blood. Spleen transports Shui Gu's essence and body fluid to the whole body. Because the temper has the characteristic of "ascending", these substances can be dissipated to the lungs, and then the qi and blood nutrients are distributed to the whole body through the function of the heart and lungs. If the spleen is healthy, it will rise to normal, with active qi and blood and adequate nutrition; If the spleen is weak, it can't be lifted, leading to head dystrophy, dizziness and general weakness.

Finally, kidney stores essence, which is the essence of kidney. On the one hand, it promotes the growth, development and reproduction of the body, on the other hand, it promotes the functional activities of the viscera, which is the basis of human life activities. The essence in the kidney not only has the qi of kidney yin, but also has the functions of cooling, moistening and nourishing viscera and tissues, and also has the qi of kidney yang, which has the functions of warming, promoting and gasifying viscera and tissues. They depend on each other and restrict each other, and * * * maintains the harmony and tranquility of yin and yang of the kidney and the whole body. If the kidney yin and yang are unbalanced, we will have kidney yin deficiency syndromes such as dizziness, tinnitus, soreness of waist and knees, and kidney yang deficiency syndromes such as fatigue, cold limbs and cold pain of waist and knees.

Therefore, from these aspects, when the whole body is full of qi and blood, the symptoms of fatigue will naturally disappear after waking up.

For example, overwork, staying up late, poor sleep quality or lack of sleep will all lead to dysfunction of the liver, spleen and kidney, so that the viscera can not get enough rest, which will lead to fatigue and dizziness when getting up in the morning.

Five million tons of carbon dioxide and harmful gases are discharged into the atmosphere every day on the earth. According to the monitoring of professional departments, the air pollution is the most serious at 7:00 and 19:00 every day. Whether the air is fresh or not depends entirely on the severity of air pollution. The main sources of urban air pollution are smoke and dust, tail gas, smoke emitted during heating period and carbon dioxide emitted by plants at night. Early morning is the peak of air pollution, and it is obviously not good for the human body to open the window for air at this time.

So, when is the best time to open the window for air? The answer given by experts is 9: 00 ~ 0: 00 or 14: 00 ~ 16: 00. Because the temperature has gradually increased in these two periods, the inversion layer phenomenon has disappeared, and the harmful gases deposited in the lower atmosphere have dispersed, which will not endanger human health.

If possible, you can prepare a device for monitoring PM2.5 at home and choose to open the window when the concentration of PM2.5 is low. If you are close to urban roads, it is best to avoid opening windows in the morning and evening rush hours, because at this time, roads are congested and automobile exhaust will lead to poor air quality.

In addition, plants can filter out some bad air very well, making the morning breath fresher and more carefree. Such as jasmine, clove and honeysuckle, can kill some bacteria in the air, inhibit the growth of tuberculosis, dysentery and typhoid bacteria, and make the indoor air clean and hygienic.

Shi Mao's large intestine meridian season is a good time to eliminate toxins.

During hair, qi and blood flow into the large intestine meridian, at which time the large intestine meridian is full of vitality. Su Wen Ling Lan's Secret Sutra says that "the person with large intestine is the official of conduction, and it will not become successful." It means that the large intestine converts the dregs in the body into feces and excretes them, which has the function of conduction. Normal defecation at this time is good for your health. On the contrary, the stool that can't be discharged will become stool, leaving toxins in the body.

The "transmission officer" here, we call it "transmission captain" figuratively. This "captain" is responsible for transporting and cleaning up the dregs in the human body-feces. This function of the large intestine can also be understood as the role of a "cleaner". Because the large intestine meridian is on duty in Shi Mao, it is called a "cleaner on duty in Shi Mao". So, how is it cleaned?

The food we eat is first processed by the stomach, then digested by the small intestine, and then cleared and turbid. Shui Gu's subtle and other nutrients are dispersed throughout the body through the transportation of the spleen, providing nutrients for internal organs, while food residues fall into the large intestine. The large intestine is processed in the last step to absorb part of the water in the residue. In this way, the dry residue becomes feces and is excreted through the anus.

Therefore, Shi Mao is also the most convenient time.

Chinese medicine believes that when Shi Mao, the landlord should open, that is, the anus should be opened. Therefore, defecation is a normal physiological phenomenon of human body and a natural trend of human qi. At this time, office workers should defecate normally and discharge the garbage toxins accumulated overnight.

As mentioned above, the large intestine is the organ of conduction. "Conduction" means transmission and guidance. The main function of the large intestine is to transport dregs and body fluids. The main transmission of dregs refers to the connection between the large intestine and the small intestine, which receives food residues from the small intestine and absorbs excess water, so that the food residues form feces. The movement of qi in the large intestine transports feces to the end of the large intestine and excretes them in a controlled way through the anus. The large intestine governs body fluid, which means that the large intestine absorbs water and participates in regulating water metabolism in the body.

However, if you want to defecate smoothly, you must keep your lungs healthy. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that the lungs and the large intestine are similar, and the lungs are full of gas to discharge feces normally. The lung is mainly yin, and the large intestine is mainly yang. Therefore, Chinese medicine often asks patients how their stools are when they are diagnosed. The discharged stool is particularly fine, and the defecation is not smooth, indicating that the cardiopulmonary function is not good. This is called that the lung is in phase with the large intestine. Good cardiopulmonary function, good defecation function and smooth excretion. Moreover, when the heart and lung function is not good, it is wrong to take laxatives to treat constipation, which will consume the vitality of the human body. Not only can it not cure constipation, but it will aggravate the condition, and tonifying the lungs is the right way.

Shi Mao can do aerobic exercise, which can stimulate the large intestine meridians. The lung meridian and the large intestine meridian run along the medial and lateral sides of the radial side of the forearm respectively. You can rub the arm of the other hand with one hand, and massage the front edge of the arm and the acupuncture points on the face and neck along the large intestine meridian to promote the blood circulation of the meridians, which is more conducive to the discharge of toxins.

Is diarrhea due to spleen deficiency or toxin at work?

Many people often have irregular or sticky stools because of their daily diet (such as blowing air conditioners, drinking cold drinks, lack of exercise, great mental stress, etc.). ). In fact, this belongs to defecation.

People with loose stools, except for the shapeless stools, are mostly characterized by obesity, cold hands and feet, white and fat tongue coating with teeth marks, dislike getting up in the morning, and are prone to drowsiness after meals. If you have these symptoms and have no other discomfort, it means that you have spleen deficiency and heavy dampness.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that spleen governs transport and transformation. The function of the spleen is to digest and absorb the food we eat, leave the good things behind, turn them into nutrients in the blood, and excrete the garbage through the large intestine. If the spleen is deficient, the food we eat will not be digested well and the stool will be deformed. Traditional Chinese medicine is called loose stool, while western medicine mostly calls it chronic colitis. The problem of spleen deficiency is difficult to treat, because it is often associated with another word in Chinese medicine, that is, "dampness".
