1. There is a certain relationship between height and heredity. First of all, it is inherited by parents. 2. It is related to the child's own conditions. If the child has slender calves, long achilles tendon, good thigh strength and high center of gravity, he will not be very short in the future.

3. It is related to the fitness the day after tomorrow. Scientific fitness exercises are beneficial to the development of children's muscles and bones, such as ball games, swimming, running and jumping.

4. It is related to the acquired nutrition. The intake of trace elements such as protein, vitamins and minerals should be balanced.

Generally, children begin to practice gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and dance at the age of 5-6, and dance is the foundation of gymnastics, so they generally begin to practice dance and its basic skills at the age of 5. If you practice basic skills too early, it will have a certain impact on your child's development. Practice should also pay attention to science. From the muscle static test, flexible quality exercises, such as splits, leg press, kicking, etc., are helpful for growth, so ordinary children can practice folk dance, and the requirements for practice are not high. In addition, folk dance is relatively simple and is not limited by venue equipment. A simple dance makes children and parents feel a sense of accomplishment. But I prefer children to practice ballet, which can shape noble temperament, especially ballet, just as piano is the basis of musical instruments, and ballet pole dancing practice is also the basis of dance, gymnastics, figure skating and synchronized swimming. If you don't specialize and pay attention to cultivating hobbies and temperament, teachers can simplify ballet, that is, you don't have to wear dance clothes to practice tiptoe, you can use ordinary standing heels instead.

Personally, I think there is too much training for folk dance in society. As far as my training experience is concerned, I am reluctant to coach children who have taught folk dance, because the steps and movements are not standardized and it is difficult to correct them. Of course, follow a good coach, unless you have received formal training.

Personally, I don't advocate children practicing martial arts. Wushu "sitting in a villa" is not conducive to height development. Many sports physiology studies can't explain this problem, but from the physical investigation of professional athletes, they are not tall, their hips are drooping and their center of gravity is low. If you don't major, it's good to practice "sitting in a villa" less and take martial arts as a self-defense exercise.

Competitive gymnastics practice is not conducive to growth and development, mainly because strength practice is too early.

In a word, I personally think that as long as children are not engaged in the professional road, scientific fitness exercise under the guidance of experienced coaches is conducive to growth and development. In addition, physical exercise is also conducive to the development of children's psychological quality.
