Oregon Bay Landing Camp
Designed by American company OfficeUntitled, this shopping center in the Pacific Northwest offers an indoor seawater swimming pool, a fitness center and a cabin with TV furniture. Bay Point Landing is a luxury campsite located in Coos Bay, a coastal town in Oregon. The project was designed by California studio OfficeUntitled, and its predecessor was R&A Architectural Design Company.

This place has an industrial history, because it was once used to store bark waste from wood processing plants. Because of the swamp terrain, it is not suitable for large buildings, but it is an ideal place for camping facilities.

OfficeUntitled is committed to creating a comfortable accommodation environment while respecting the natural terrain. "In order to protect the natural beauty of the bay, the design shows the characteristics of the entrance site of 65,438+003 acres (465,438+0.6 hectares) by showing the landscape and history," the team said in the project description. "In this case, a series of smaller buildings are designed as a public camp network."

Despite the expansion plan, the campsite currently provides 65,438+07 furnished huts and 65,438+04 RVs.

And nearly 100 RV parking spaces. At the center of the camp is a spacious year-round club, which rises above the ground through a series of docks. A network of walkways connects different areas of the camp. The building is roughly V-shaped and consists of four volumes, each of which has different functions. One of them has a seawater swimming pool, and the other has a gym and a shower. Others include activity space, bar, lounge, laundry facilities and welcome hall. The outer wall is wrapped in cedar shingles and large pieces of glass. The sloping roof reminds people of the traditional seaside cottages in this area, echoing the "swamp island style" from a distance. The roof slopes in different directions,

Make the clubhouse look more sculptural. The architect created two different cabins for this project -Kamphus Cabin and Drifting Cabin. One has a gable roof, while the other has a flat roof. Both are covered with worn-out wood.

The house is rectangular, including an open living room/dining room and kitchenette, as well as a bedroom and a complete bathroom. Modern facilities include two TV sets, wireless network, cable TV access and 1802 new york beekman high-end cosmetics.

There is a covered porch in front of each hut. Adirondack's chairs, picnic tables and fire pits enhance the outdoor leisure experience. Barbecue grills are available upon request.

The aluminum RV can accommodate up to 4 tourists. Each RV has a sleeping area, convertible dining table and chair space, and a bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. Like the cabin, Airstreams has a terrace, a fire pit, a picnic table and lounge chairs.
