Empress Dowager Chiang Rai University in Thailand is located in Chiang Rai province in northern Thailand. Chiang Rai province is adjacent to Myanmar and Laos and belongs to the Greater Mekong River Basin. Empress Dowager Cixi University was formally established on September 25th, 1998. It is a national autonomous university.
