1, Snow Temple
Snow Temple, also known as Baiyun Temple, is located at the southern foot of Shaoshi Mountain, 9 kilometers northeast of Ruzhou City. Built in the first year of Chuping in the Eastern Han Dynasty, it is also known as Ji Xiang Temple, Qianfeng Temple and Baiyun Temple. It is the ancestral home of Tiantai Sect of Buddhism and Lin Ji. Historically, it is also known as the four famous temples in the Central Plains with Shaolin Temple in Dengfeng, Suoguo Temple in Kaifeng and Baima Temple in Luoyang.
2. Jiufeng Mountain
Jiufeng Mountain is located in Jiliao Town, southwest of Ruzhou City. According to legend, the nine daughters of the Jade Emperor became Jiu Feng because of their lust for the beautiful scenery here, hence the name Jiu Feng.
3. Guaipo Scenic Area
Guaipo Scenic Spot is the core scenic spot of Fengxue Temple National Forest Park and Dahongzhai Provincial Geopark. The scenic spot consists of strange slopes and bamboo temples, and the main scenic spot covers an area of about 62,000 square meters.
4. Danyang Lake Scenic Area
Danyang Lake Scenic Area is located in Rudong New District, Ruzhou City, with superior geographical position and convenient traffic conditions.
