This hotel is a supporting project of Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in the State Council. It is a five-star foreign-related business hotel that undertakes many important foreign affairs activities.
The construction period of this project is 8 months, and it was completed in August 2000, with a project area of 45000m2 and a project cost of 654.38+200 million yuan.
The interior decoration design of Guo Bin Hotel began in March 1998. At the beginning of the design, the owner Zhong Shi Group and the manager RADDISION Hotel Management Company clearly defined the hotel as a modern five-star business hotel with European style. At the same time, the owner also specially hired Mr. Chars. Mr. Bell and Mr. Dell, internationally renowned senior hotel management experts. Keller, a master of interior design, serves as a consultant for hotel function and decoration design. Thanks to the participation of two experts, the overall design points were quickly established:
1. On the premise of European style, whether these two pairs of contradictions can be well coordinated becomes the key to successful design.
2. Inclusive of ancient and modern, blending Chinese and foreign cultures, seeking the combination of the two cultures in changes and trying to implement them in the decoration design of various areas of indoor space, striving to embody diversified and diversified cultural connotations while pursuing the overall unified style of the hotel, and creating a unique cultural and artistic atmosphere such as "modern traditional cultural view" and "China in the eyes of foreigners" while creating elegant and luxurious indoor space of a five-star hotel.
3. With pure, elegant and bright beige as the background, setting off high-grade furniture, lamps and works of art, combined with outstanding three-dimensional sense and rhythm, setting off the elegant cultural atmosphere of the hotel has become the basic principle throughout the hotel design.
These basic principles have been implemented in the decoration design of each working area of the hotel, which makes the overall decoration of the hotel achieve the decorative effect of paying equal attention to luxury and elegance to a considerable extent.
First, the public area of the hotel.
As a five-star hotel, the public area of Ambassador Hotel is rich in content and comprehensive in facilities. In addition to the iconic lobby space, restaurant and banquet facilities, the advanced conference center and entertainment facilities also have their own characteristics in functional layout and decoration. These public facilities are mainly concentrated on the first to fourth floors of the hotel, which is the most important part of the hotel interior decoration project.
(1) Lobby space featuring large murals, colonnades and palm trees.
The building structure of the public space of the Ambassador Hotel itself has many incomparable advantages-a * * * enjoyment space, which can reach five floors, with direct outdoor light, and the lobby bar is here. No matter from the traffic function or decoration, it is not only the most popular area in the hotel lobby space, but also the center of the hotel public space. There are two groups of vertical traffic shafts leading directly to the upper floors in the south and north of the lobby. The difference is that the shafts of the two sightseeing elevators on the south side face the lobby. Whether staying in the lobby bar or taking the sightseeing elevator, guests will be in an interesting identity transition between "enjoying the scenery" and "being regarded as enjoying the scenery". On the north side of the lobby bar, "sitting north facing south" is an excellent solid wall with a height of five stories, facing a huge landscape mural with a height of eight meters and a width of six meters. Its resplendent theme contrasts with the stone wall in Huang Yun, which is absolutely harmonious under the light or during the day. Many painters from the Central Academy of Fine Arts created murals for the hotel. The content and form of murals are traditional and China's. However, when they are decomposed by abstract deformation, they appear in a lobby space surrounded by twelve typical Roman decorative columns in the form of combination, which brings many different feelings to people. This is the charm of the hotel lobby, and its momentum and position in controlling the overall situation are self-evident.
The grand ballroom on the second floor is an important part of catering and an indispensable part of the whole hotel. The Grand Ballroom consists of two parts: the front hall and the main hall. Four groups of fully foldable goalkeepers combine the front hall and the main hall to form a super-large banquet hall that can accommodate 800 people. The net height of the main hall is 4.2 meters, and a long movable partition can divide the main hall into two to meet various needs. In order to meet the needs of banquets, performances and conferences, a supporting interpretation room with simultaneous interpretation function for international conferences was set up at one side of the main hall. Two groups of large crystal ceiling powder occupy the main position of the main hall ceiling. Carpets on the floor and wooden decorations on the wall will make the Grand Ballroom an extremely luxurious and magnificent place to meet the important tasks of undertaking major state affairs after completion.
Above the two-story grand ballroom is the roof garden of the podium between the two main buildings on the fourth floor. It is also a unique independent bar in the hotel-Four Seasons Garden Bar. Compared with the coffee shop on the first floor, it is more like the street square of a small town in Europe: the outer windows of the surrounding high-rise rooms are decorated with beige imitation stone paint, and the beige window covers and line corners give people a feeling of the outer walls of European ancient buildings; The ceiling, like the hall, is a glass grid. Nothing blocks the outdoor sunshine except a few white plastic-sprayed circular ventilation pipes. In the center of the garden is an octagonal buffet dining table. There is a huge bronze container on the two-story countertop, surrounded by stone railings. Since then, stone tunnels extending in all directions and the surrounding edges have enhanced people's feeling of being outdoors. Surrounded by green artificial lawns, groups of rattan chairs are placed in them; Four groups of big banyan trees with a height of six meters are placed in it, which becomes another important landscape of the roof garden; The wrought iron pavilions and hedges are more like groups of stage sets scattered on both sides of the garden. Separated by a transparent glass is a pool of clear water, which is the hotel's indoor swimming pool. Especially at night, the water waves in the swimming pool and the small lights and candles in the garden complement each other, and the feeling of tranquility and peace arises spontaneously, as if you can hear cicadas singing on four big banyan trees as long as you pay attention.
(3) Hotel conference center named after a world-famous river.
The conference center of the hotel consists of twelve meeting rooms, which are located on the second and third floors of the main building. There are eight meeting rooms on the east side of the escalator on the second floor. Because they are close to the banquet hall, they have the possibility of multiple functions in use. The eight meeting rooms are divided into three types according to the room size and decoration level. There are three A-type meeting rooms, each with an area of 72 square meters. Two B-type meeting rooms, each with an area of 64 square meters; There are two C-type meeting rooms, which are the highest among the three types of meeting rooms. They are the private dining rooms of the board of directors, each with an area of 54 square meters and can be used by 12 people. The tables and chairs used in the three types of eight conference rooms can be flexibly replaced according to the needs. Each meeting room is equipped with advanced data line connection ports for holding remote video conferences. Four small conference rooms with general functions are located near the entrance of the elevator hall on the third floor, with convenient transportation, which can be used for daily meetings of hotel guests and teams. It is worth mentioning that, according to the management consideration of the hotel management company, the eight meeting rooms on the second floor can also become independent senior VIP dining areas during dinner time because of their special locations. The conference room (VIP restaurant) named after the world-famous river, together with the corresponding indoor art furnishings, will definitely bring unique artistic and cultural enjoyment to the guests who come here for dinner besides food.
(4) Fitness facilities with compact space and perfect functions.
As mentioned above, the two can be described as borrowing scenery from each other, and they have become prosperous accordingly: the swimming pool is more vibrant because it is adjacent to the Green Garden Bar, and the roof garden has achieved the reputation of "Chi Pan Bar" because of the heat of a pool of clear water. The swimming pool is small in size, but its special location gives people a wide view. Twelve algae wells on the top, soft warm light penetrates the white film, like summer sunshine. On the wall of the main scene, a semicircular brick arch with a height of four meters and a width of eight meters spans the banks of the swimming pool, and there is a lush bamboo forest in the arch. Under the contrast of lighting effects simulating outdoor natural light, people who are indoors are taken to the wild nature.
This is part of the entertainment facilities located on the fourth floor. The swimming pool is adjacent to the sauna and dressing area for male and female guests. The space area is not extravagant, but the reasonable layout makes it have good functional equipment and compact and reasonable use streamline in a limited space. The gym is located at the end of the fitness area, which is divided into strength training area and aerobic dance area, and the other passage is connected with the larger second-phase fitness center planned in the near future, which makes it possible for the hotel to develop reasonably and continuously in streamline organization.
The lobby space and roof garden bar of the hotel are the key points of the public area design of the state guesthouse, and they are also the two main "selling points" of the hotel. The particularity of their spatial relationship makes the area between the two spaces on the fourth floor a very distinctive viewing space. The chess room and billiards room belong to the hotel's entertainment facilities, but they are relatively quiet and elegant, and are arranged on both sides of the four-story passenger elevator hall. Guests staying here can have a panoramic view of the space in the lobby bar on the north side and enjoy the green of the open garden bar just a few steps away. Especially at night, the lobby bar under the lights and the Four Seasons Garden in the night are even more beautiful, making the chess room and billiards room an ideal place for many tasteful guests to talk.
Second, the guest room part
There are rooms in the hotel from the first floor to the sixteenth floor, among which the third floor to the thirteenth floor are standard rooms, which are divided into many standard rooms and suites because of the different layout and furniture arrangement. Each room is equipped with the necessary room facilities of a five-star hotel, which conveys the warm and comfortable feeling of home to the guests through elegant and bright colors and furniture combining Chinese and western. Modern network facilities penetrate into every room, making hotel room facilities further meet the needs of modern people's lives.
According to the standard of five-star hotel hardware facilities, floors 14, 15 and 16 of the hotel are designated as executive VIP floors, with an executive living room equivalent to the sum of five rooms to meet the needs of high-end business guests for business talks, breakfast and lunch.
The guest rooms on the executive floor are mainly two suites, including three presidential suites on the sixteenth floor. The dark wood and warm brown wallpaper in each room are matched with gorgeous lighting, which sets off the elegance and luxury of the executive room. In addition to the data cable socket of the special computer, each room is equipped with videophone equipment and more advanced facilities such as electric curtains. This three-story room provides the highest level of service for hotel guests.
Located at 16 floor, three ultra-luxury presidential suites with a total area of nearly 1 1,000 square meters are unique in both decorative style and artistic atmosphere. The decorative style of P 1 is mainly minimalism. Through concise means, refined modeling language and elegant and pure surface decoration materials, the popular concept of advocating minimalism in Europe and America is expressed. The configuration of furniture, the choice of lamps and works of art all follow this style. P3 is the largest presidential suite in the hotel (450 square meters). In design, the style is located in the extremely luxurious palace atmosphere that highlights the classical style. Every piece of furniture and every piece of cloth can be appreciated as handicrafts, and the display of artworks is more to bring infinite aesthetic feeling to people, and at the same time, people seem to be in the palaces of European monarchies in 16 and 17 centuries. Its decorative effect is worthy of the unique name of the hotel: "Royal Suite". P2 suite is the smallest of the three suites, which is somewhere between the two in style positioning, and eclecticism is adopted as the main theme of decoration and art design. Diversified open style and artistic style coexist in this space, which makes the artistic atmosphere of this suite more unique than the other two presidential suites.
