Hello everyone! The topic of my speech today is to call for the spring breeze and comfort the loyal soul.
Students, whenever the five-star red flag rises against the rising sun in Ran Ran, Ran Ran, have you ever wondered: Why is the five-star red flag so bright and why is it shining on the flag? Students will be able to blurt out: "The red flag is stained with the blood of martyrs, and the five stars shine because of the condensation of heroic spirit." Yes, without the bloody sacrifice of revolutionary martyrs, there would be no happiness today!
On the eve of Tomb-Sweeping Day this year, our Daye School called on students to go out of the classroom and investigate the little-known heroic deeds in their hometown. Through the investigation, the names of heroes and heroes were written in students' notebooks, and those stories that made people cry were engraved in our hearts.
Between the pines and cypresses on the hillside of Phoenix Cliff lies a young Eighth Route Army soldier. His name is Menyili, from Shanxi. In order to liberate the Chinese nation and drive the Japanese out of China, he fought against the North. Later, his superiors arranged for him to work in the Fifth Arsenal of Fenghuang Cliff Village. He works day and night in the arsenal, and every day he is trying to develop high-quality weapons and ammunition so that our soldiers can put them into use as soon as possible.
At the foot of the majestic Ma Shishan, another fighting hero, Yang Xifang, was buried. He comes from the village of East Phoenix Cliff. 1in the autumn of 943, during the battle of Zaozhuang, the troops were besieged by Japanese troops several times as many as ours, but he was fearless in the face of the crisis, strategizing and decisively leading some soldiers out of the encirclement of Japanese devils. After the breakthrough, he found that the colonel and others were still trapped in the encirclement and raised their guns. He led the soldiers, braving the roaring bullets, shouting, charging and coming back. The head of the regiment escaped from danger, but our young political commissar spilled blood on the land of Zaozhuang at the age of 26.
Heroes, you died for the benefit of the people, and your death is heavier than Mount Tai. How can we not respect you to your face? Your brilliant achievements will go down in history forever! Your reputation will shine with the sun and the moon, and live with the rivers. We admire you, selfless heroes! Your hero's body has built the lofty and majestic buildings of * * * and China, and your blood has watered the deep-rooted towering trees of * * * and China. It is because of your loftiness, selflessness and dedication that we have a happy life today and the prosperity of our motherland. The motherland and people thank you, and you will always be a monument in our hearts. Heroes, you will be immortal.
Students, the dead are gone, but the living are obsessed with it. Now, although we don't have to face the decline of our country, let alone endure the smoke of war, we may have to stop unexpected floods, fight SARS, prevent bird flu, send our spacecraft into the sky, protect the environment, safeguard world peace, and so on. Undoubtedly, as future builders and successors of the motherland, we have a long way to go.
The waves behind the Yangtze River push the waves ahead, and each generation is stronger than the next. The martyrs created the motherland today, and we will also create the motherland tomorrow. Facing the bright red scarf beating on the chest, we will use the clank oath to comfort the heroes who are buried underground: study hard and serve the motherland. Today we are proud of our motherland, and tomorrow and the future will be proud of us!
