1. First open CATIA, find the start menu, then select mechanical design, and then open the part design, as shown in the figure below.

2. Then a dialog box for creating a new part name will pop up, and then click Rename to Solid Zoom, and then click OK.

3. Then open the sketch interface, make a rectangle with the origin as the reference point, and click Exit when finished.

4 Then stretch the sketch in both positive and negative directions, with a size of 20mm, find the zoom command on the right, then left-click to enter the dialog box, right-click at the reference point, and select the creation point.

5. Then create an origin with the coordinate of 0, scale it with the reference of 0:5, and then click OK to exit.

6. Finally, cancel the zoom, enter the zoom command dialog box, and select the xy plane with the zoom ratio of 0:5. The image will be scaled according to the normal scale of xy.
