This is Weihai, Shandong, the happiness park in the city center. The name is straight and white, but in the early spring morning, there are few tourists, the sea is blue, and trees and flowers are eager to get ready. Everything encourages me to sit on the floor and enjoy my present life.
There is a long group of sculptures in the walking park by the sea. Like a riddle, I read it all the way with great interest. Sages and philosophers in history, science and literature all have unique expressions here.
Along the way, the lawn is green, and the bench is quietly waiting for its owner. Human beings can break through their own limitations and become more rational and powerful, which is inseparable from these flashing moments. I don't know how many tourists left the seaside promenade and stopped to think.
Further north is the Happiness Gate, facing Shichang Avenue. This is the east-west main road in Weihai, next to Huancui Building in Gaowei Square, and Tashan Park hidden among the crowd. Summer surprises me. This is the old town of Weihai. The planning is small and exquisite, and the mountains and seas are all in the bag, so that you can appreciate the beauty of nature everywhere.
Northerners like Weihai for a reason, because it has four distinct seasons and is most like their hometown. For example, Weihai is sunny in the early spring, and the recovery is not as urgent as Beijing. No cotton-padded clothes today, just a shirt tomorrow. The spring in Weihai is long, trees grow new leaves bit by bit, and people have to take off their winter clothes bit by bit. It was not until mid-April that the city stopped warming.
If you are a long-distance runner, Weihai is your paradise. Today, the coastal coastline of the urban area is completely paved with red trails. Walking, running and cycling can all exercise while enjoying the sea view.
A friend of mine likes long-distance running very much. Run a horse and a half every three to five in Beijing. But he runs along the Second Ring Road or drives to Olin Park. The Second Ring Road is crowded with heavy exhaust. I advised him to give up exercise in foggy weather. Later, I was forced to go to the gym, and I couldn't even call directly.
If he is in Weihai, he will be truly liberated, and he will be able to reap the full beauty after running. But everyone has their own ambitions, and it's time to struggle. How many people can give up their jobs, friends, high salaries and choose another city like me?
In fact, every city has its advantages and disadvantages.
In my mind, Beijing has a strong humanistic atmosphere, and a casual walk in the hutongs can evoke a sigh of time and history. (Although there are not many hutongs left) There is Hero Mountain in the north of Beijing, which is the relic of Yanshan Mountains and the frontier of the ancient northern nomadic people's war with the Han nationality. There are so many wild Great Wall, watchtowers and beacon towers, ancient castles and ancient tombs. There is also 798 in Beijing, where people with strange ideas and unique hobbies gather together. However, the 798, which used to be all-inclusive, has now changed its taste. Apart from business, there is not much art left. ...
There is also the huge crowded and polluted air in Beijing, which not only makes people frown, but also makes people get pharyngitis and rhinitis. Weihai is just the opposite in this respect, small and beautiful, but not dignified in history.
It is said that there are many northeast people in Weihai city. Indeed, people with northeast accents often chat and make phone calls in the streets. Hebei people, Tianjin people, Beijingers and even Su Beiren all moved to Weihai.
Being the same as the north, we have the same living habits, and we can return soon when we are close to our hometown. Weihai has a dry climate in winter, spring and autumn, almost all of which are sunny.
Nowadays, life tends to be diversified, and we can choose the one that suits us best more freely. Stay at home, go far away, get married or be single. As long as it doesn't interfere with others, I think everything is right and my choice.
