How to do postpartum health care?
Postpartum nursing is called "confinement" by Chinese people, and there are many old experiences of confinement, from diet to exercise and fitness. However, many of these old sayings are unscientific or wrong. In order to make mother and baby healthy and restore the beauty of the past as soon as possible, we have summarized a set of scientific postpartum health care methods, so that new mothers can take better care of themselves.

1. Basic postpartum care

It is impossible to return to a relaxed state immediately after giving birth to a child. You always have problems and discomforts of one kind or another. As long as you take proper care, you will soon recover and enjoy the happiness and sweetness of being a mother.

Some women feel very strange, why do they still feel intermittent abdominal pain after delivery? Moreover, when you have abdominal pain, you can feel a hard "pimple" on your abdomen. This hard "pimple" is actually the uterus. When the uterus contracts, the parturient will feel abdominal pain. Generally, parturient women do not feel this kind of postpartum uterine contraction pain, that is, postpartum pain, but some parturients, especially emergency women and multiparas, still feel intermittent abdominal pain. During breastfeeding, the pain is more obvious and sometimes unbearable. Pain is often accompanied by an increase in lochia discharge.

Postpartum pain is more common in women with multiple births and short labor process, and it is more obvious for women who choose cesarean section. The more times of delivery, the heavier the postpartum pain, which may be due to multiple pregnancies, the decrease of elastic fiber smooth muscle components in uterine muscles and the increase of connective tissue, resulting in abnormal contractility of uterine muscles. However, the urgent labor may be caused by ischemia and hypoxia of myometrium caused by excessive uterine contraction. The parturient who underwent cesarean section directly without going through the labor process is more sensitive to this kind of postpartum uterine contraction pain. When breastfeeding, the baby's sucking stimulation can reflexively cause uterine contraction, making postpartum pain more obvious.

Postpartum pain usually appears in 2 ~ 3 days after delivery, and disappears automatically in 2 ~ 3 days without special treatment. If the pain is unbearable, you can apply hot compress to your small abdomen or take painkillers to relieve the pain. In addition, drinking brown sugar water, yellow wine and canned hawthorn can also be effective. In addition, due to the oppression of presentation and the operation of midwifery, perineum often appears mild congestion and edema, or perineum has laceration or lateral incision. Because of its anatomical characteristics, perineum is easily polluted by urine, feces and lochia. If you don't pay attention to cleaning, it is easy to cause puerperal infection and affect maternal health, so perineal care is very important.

Postpartum perineum can be washed with 1: 5000 potassium permanganate solution or 0. 1% bromogeramine, 2 ~ 3 times a day or after defecation, and the perineum should be kept as clean and dry as possible. If there is suture in perineum, check whether there is redness, induration and secretion around the wound every day. Take out stitches 3 ~ 5 days after delivery. If the wound is infected, the stitches should be removed as soon as possible, the dressing should be changed every day, and the wound should be irradiated with infrared rays to keep the surface dry and promote healing. If the perineum is swollen, 50% magnesium sulfate or 75% alcohol can be used for hot compress. When lying flat, you should lie flat on the opposite side of the wound to avoid lochia flowing to the wound and increase the chance of infection. It takes about 2 weeks for the perineal wound to heal completely, and then it can be scrubbed once a day. Postpartum menstrual pads should be disinfected with sanitary napkins or other sanitary products. Sanitary appliances and underwear should be washed and changed frequently. After washing, it should be exposed to the sun to achieve the purpose of disinfection and sterilization.

Also, after pregnancy and childbirth, the ligaments that maintain the normal position of the uterus also become loose, and the position of the uterus can change with the change of body position. If you often take the supine position after delivery, it may cause the uterus to move backwards, causing symptoms such as waist and knee pain and lumbosacral discomfort. Therefore, in order to keep the uterus in a normal position, "uterine recovery exercise" should be carried out.

It is feasible to lie prone in the morning and evening after delivery (but be careful not to squeeze the breast), and the time of lying prone is about 20 ~ 30 minutes each time. Usually you can take a lateral position, and the supine time should not be too long. After delivery 10 day, do chest and knee decubitus position once in the morning and evening, each time lasting about 10 ~ 15 minutes. The posture of chest and knees should be correct. Keep your chest close to the bed, raise your hips as high as possible, and your knees are at 90 degrees. Pay attention to high blood pressure, heart disease and it is not easy to lie flat on your chest and knees after meals.

Postpartum care should be patient. Be careful. If you have any questions, you can consult an obstetrician, who will give you the correct answer and guide you to do a good job in postpartum care.

2. Three old sayings you can forget

When "confinement", the elders at home will give you a lot of advice based on their own experience. Some suggestions are of great benefit to you, but others have no scientific basis at all. If you listen to these statements, your health will not be protected, but may be hurt.

Here are three statements you should forget:

(1) Pregnant women dare not cover up when they see the wind. Your mother or mother-in-law may tell you that confinement is to "cover the moon" and never see the wind. Have it both ways will leave a legacy, what will happen in the future. Even in the hot summer, pregnant women who have heard this statement have to close the doors and windows, put on thick clothes and hats, which is extremely uncomfortable. Postpartum sweating, such a "cover" can easily cause postpartum heatstroke collapse, which is equivalent to "adding fuel to the fire" for women who are prone to sweating.

How to nurse postpartum sweating?

First of all, the indoor temperature should not be too high, and the windows should be properly ventilated to keep the indoor air circulating and fresh.

Secondly, women should wear covers properly, not too much, and the quilt should not be too thick. Dry with a towel as soon as you sweat. If possible, take a bath every night. If not, you can scrub with warm water every night. But be careful not to catch cold, and the underwear of the lying-in woman should be changed in time.

(2) "confinement" means not getting out of bed. Some old people think that the so-called "confinement" means lying in bed for a month without even eating and washing your face. In fact, this statement is not conducive to maternal and child health care. Confinement is a stage of gradual recovery of reproductive organs, which requires a combination of motion and static, and proper exercise under the condition of full rest. The doctor pointed out that normal parturient and postpartum women usually feel tired on the first day after delivery and should get enough sleep or rest within 24 hours to restore their mental and physical strength. Therefore, they should stay in bed completely. You can sit up and get out of bed the next day; Older women get up 32 hours after delivery. The frequency, range and time of getting out of bed activities should gradually increase with the number of postpartum days. Get out of bed, wash and dress, eat and defecate within 2 ~ 10 days after delivery; 10 ~ Take care of yourself in daily life within 20 days after delivery; 20 days after delivery, you can get out of bed and walk slowly, exercise your bones and muscles, and dredge your blood. If you have been strong, have a natural birth and get out of bed, you can take a walk in advance. Rest until the full moon, and then you can do light housework and take care of the baby. After 6 ~ 8 weeks of rest, you can take part in your daily work. Cesarean section rest 10 ~ 12 weeks, you can engage in general work.

If the parturient has complications such as trauma, infection, dystocia and operation, she should increase or decrease the time and scope of rest and activities according to the specific situation, or take a rest under the guidance of a doctor. When the wound and infection are controlled, we should get out of bed on time, but the time and scope of activities are less than that of normal parturient. If you have difficulty getting out of bed, you should also turn over in bed, or do leg lifts and sit down.

Now some people advocate doing some postpartum gymnastics from the second day of puerperium, which is beneficial to the rejuvenation of various organs. Early moderate exercise will not produce adverse side effects. Simple bed rest is harmful to lying-in women.

(3) Try to avoid shampooing, bathing and brushing your teeth during confinement. In the second month, due to the exuberant skin excretion function, sweating more, breast swelling often leads to milk outflow, vaginal lochia discharge, and several smells are mixed together, which is very unpleasant. Therefore, postpartum women should pay more attention to hygiene, keep the whole body and perineum clean, and prevent mastitis and endometritis. Generally speaking, you can brush your teeth, rinse your mouth, wash your hair and wash your feet with warm water as usual after delivery. However, the maternal body is very weak in the second month, so pay attention to the season when taking a bath. If in summer, you can take a shower 2 ~ 3 days after delivery, but you should take a shower instead of a tub bath to avoid sewage entering the vagina and causing infection. Bathing time should not be too long, 15 ~ 20 minutes, water temperature 34 ~ 36℃. Don't be on an empty stomach to avoid hypoglycemia. If you are in winter, you should only use clean towels or warm water to wipe your body. It is best not to take a bath to prevent cold weather from causing a cold. A large number of facts have proved that the blood pressure of postpartum bathing women is stable, and their body temperature fluctuates but soon returns to normal, which has no effect on uterine contraction and lochia discharge and can also promote lactation. After bathing, 80% ~ 90% of parturients are ruddy, refreshed and have a good sleep, which is conducive to the recovery of physical health.

You can also brush your teeth as usual during the month to protect your teeth. Some people think that you can't brush your teeth in the month, which is wrong. Postpartum oral cavity is also a portal of human body. Bacteria stay in the throat, teeth and other parts, and they will be brought out when talking and breathing. Adequate nutrition is needed after delivery, and the number of meals will increase. If you don't brush your teeth, the food residue after eating will remain on the surface and between the teeth, corroding and destroying the enamel on the tooth surface, and the bacteria in the mouth will take the opportunity to multiply, thus causing dental caries, periodontitis and pulpitis. Therefore, brush your teeth 1 time every morning and evening after delivery, and rinse your mouth after each meal.

"confinement" must pay attention to scientific nursing, so that the maternal body can recover as soon as possible and the mother and baby are healthy.

3. How does the postpartum mother feel?

What do postpartum women eat? This is a big problem. If the mother eats well and the nutrition can keep up, she can secrete milk and let the baby grow up healthily. Many family members put their minds on eating and prepared a lot of nutritious food for the parturient. However, some family members lack knowledge of postpartum care, and the food they choose for the parturient is inappropriate, even counterproductive. So what should women eat?

5 ~ 7 days after delivery, due to the weak digestive ability of the parturient, rice porridge, soft noodles and egg soup should be the main food, and it is not advisable to eat greasy food, such as pig's trotters and hens. After 7 days, with the recovery of digestive ability, you can eat high-calorie and nutritious food, such as fish, meat, chicken, steamed stuffed bun, jiaozi and so on. Can be adjusted according to personal taste. But don't be too full. You can eat more meals every day for 1 month after delivery. From a medical point of view, there is no need to avoid eating after delivery, but it should be noted that you should not eat spicy and warm things, such as pepper, garlic, wine and fennel. To avoid constipation or hemorrhoids. Don't eat cold and hard things, so as not to damage the spleen and stomach and affect the digestive function. Some people think that pregnant women should not eat seafood, otherwise it will cause inflammation of perineal incision or abdominal incision. In fact, if you were not allergic to seafood in the past, you can eat it after childbirth. Only a few people are allergic to seafood. Seafood is a high protein food. Proper consumption after delivery is beneficial to recovery of health and wound healing. If you have a history of allergies before, it is best not to eat seafood such as shrimp, crab and shells until the wound heals.

Some people think that eating brown sugar and drinking yellow wine after delivery will accelerate the recovery of health. Brown sugar and yellow rice wine are really helpful to the recovery of maternal body, but in moderation. Brown sugar is crude sugar without purification, which has two functions: on the one hand, it is rich in nutrients, such as iron, calcium and carotene, and has the functions of enriching blood and promoting blood circulation; On the other hand, it contains a lot of glucose, which can provide energy for lying-in women and make the uterus degenerate as soon as possible; It can also induce diuresis, which is conducive to the elimination of water and harmful substances left in the body as soon as possible. But eating too much brown sugar can cause abdominal distension, loss of appetite and other symptoms, and may also cause digestive tract diseases such as diarrhea, so you can eat brown sugar after childbirth, but you don't have to eat it. Pay attention to boiling, filtering, removing impurities and eating in moderation when eating.

Yellow rice wine, also known as rice wine, is the essence of Shui Gu. Sexual heat is fierce. Drinking a small amount after delivery can dispel wind and promote blood circulation, ward off evil spirits and filth, which is beneficial to the elimination of lochia and uterine contraction, and has the effect of relaxing muscles and activating collaterals for catching cold after delivery. However, drinking yellow wine should be timely and appropriate, and excessive yellow wine will help to get angry, which will make the parturient get angry and get sore. And because of the mother's internal heat, it can affect the baby through milk, and it will also cause the baby to get angry. Drinking time should be within 1 week after delivery. Because it can promote blood circulation, drinking for too long will cause lochia to be discharged too much or last for a long time, which is not conducive to the recovery of health.

Remind mothers to take supplements after delivery, as long as the absorbed nutrition can meet the health needs of mothers and babies. Uncontrolled tonic will deform your body. I can't go back to the good past!

4. Teach you to cope with the unspeakable pain after childbirth

Postpartum constipation is really a headache for the parturient, because constipation not only brings pain to the parturient, but also often gives a "small gift"-hemorrhoids for free, which makes the unspeakable pain of the parturient worse.

Some parturients feel very strange. Why are they constipated after giving birth? There are many reasons for postpartum constipation. For example, due to the changes of postpartum body endocrine, intestinal peristalsis is weakened, and due to postpartum abdominal wall relaxation, insufficient contractility, plus postpartum blood loss, sweating, and less activity, the diet is often dominated by rice and flour, and the intake of vegetables, fruits, and water is less, so postpartum constipation often occurs.

After the puerpera is constipated, the feces stay in the intestine for a long time, and the water is absorbed by the intestine, which leads to dry stool and it is extremely difficult for the puerpera to defecate. Seriously, it will cause anal fissure and hemorrhoids, which will increase the pain of the parturient. Coupled with the pain caused by perineal laceration during childbirth, the parturient is afraid of defecation and unwilling to defecate, forming a vicious circle.

Postpartum constipation should be prevented first. For pregnant women who are constipated before delivery, they should be encouraged to get out of bed early to do anal contraction exercise, and insist on 1 ~ 2 times a day, each time for about 10 minutes; Drink plenty of water. After getting up every morning, you can mix sesame oil and honey with boiling water, eat more foods rich in cellulose such as vegetables and fruits, develop the habit of defecation regularly, and form a conditioned reflex.

If constipation occurs after 2 ~ 3 days, you can plug the anus with kaiselu or enema with soapy water.

One of the most direct side effects of postpartum constipation is that it is easy to cause hemorrhoids. But if we can take some measures, we can reduce the incidence of hemorrhoids.

① Eat a reasonable diet, eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, especially foods rich in cellulose, and eat less spicy food to keep the stool smooth.

2 getting out of bed early after delivery is conducive to the recovery of intestinal peristalsis and the smooth defecation, but don't be overworked, which is also easy to induce hemorrhoids.

③ Develop a good habit of defecation. Regular defecation. If constipation occurs, appropriate measures should be taken, such as kaiselu plugging anus or taking traditional Chinese medicine Runchang tablets.

④ Do anal contractions twice a day, 20 ~ 50 times each time.

Once hemorrhoids occur, you can take a sitz bath with 1: 5000 potassium permanganate solution (warm) twice a day to promote blood circulation around anus. Dry after washing and apply hemorrhoid cream.

Postpartum constipation has brought infinite troubles to the parturient, so we must not treat it lightly. If the problem of puerperal constipation is serious, you should go to the hospital and ask the doctor to help you solve the pain, so that you can easily "sit on the moon" and be a healthy mother!

5. Find the state from the "moon"

What women are most worried about is that they can't recover their body after childbirth, so some women dare not eat too nutritious things when they are confined to the moon, and some even ask doctors if they can take diet pills for confinement. In fact, postpartum recovery is not as difficult as you think. We will give you some advice to help you reproduce your slim and perfect figure.

After delivery, the maternal body often becomes bloated and obese, which makes mothers very annoyed. In fact, although postpartum physical recovery will be affected by genetic factors, it also has a lot to do with diet and exercise.

If you want to recover well, you should pay attention to the following three points when "confinement":

(1) to ensure sleep during the puerperium, to ensure that sleep 10 hours every day. When people get enough sleep, they will become refreshed and radiant, which is conducive to the recovery of the body.

2 postpartum diet should be reasonably matched. If you don't eat properly, it is easy to cause fat accumulation and obesity.

③ Maternity clothes should be loose and comfortable. Because of the relaxation of abdominal wall, abdominal belt can be used, but the tightness should be moderate. You should hold up your breasts with a loose bra to prevent them from sagging.

The most important thing is to strengthen exercise. Don't think that you can only exercise after confinement. In fact, confinement is the best time to get back in shape. We will introduce you to a group of postpartum calisthenics. As long as you stick to it, you will soon get satisfactory results.

① From 24 hours after delivery, lie on your back and take a deep breath in the abdomen, so that the abdominal wall fluctuates with breathing for 5 minutes every day.

(2) From the second day after delivery, lie on your back with your arms lying on your sides at right angles to your body, then put your elbows close to your chest, clap your hands, and then resume your posture. Repeat 5 times.

③ From the 3rd day, lie on your back and bend your neck forward forcibly, so that your chin touches your chest and other parts of your body are still. Repeat 10 times.

(4) From the third day, lie on your back, lift your legs in turn, first perpendicular to your body, and then slowly put them down, 5 times for each leg.

⑤ From the eighth day, lie on your back and put your arms on your sides naturally. First bend the right leg, make the thigh as close as possible to the abdomen, and the heel as close as possible to the hip, then recover, and practice the left and right legs alternately, 5 times each.

⑥ From day 10, lie on your back and straighten your legs. First, slowly close your feet, and gradually bend your knees to 90. Horn. Then lift your hips, support your body with your feet and shoulders and hang in the air. Contraction of abdominal and perineal muscles simultaneously. Master the amount of exercise according to physical strength.

⑦ From 12 days, lie on your back, bend your knees and cross your arms on your chest. Then slowly sit up in a semi-recumbent position, and then resume your posture. You can also lie on your back, bend your knees, straighten your arms and do sit-ups. Practice several times according to your ability.

Levator ani contraction movement. Lie on your back, thighs together, arms crossed, try to lift your hips, and then relax. 10 ~ 20 times in a row, and then gradually increase. If you insist on exercise, it will help the recovery of pelvic floor muscle support.

However, before doing postpartum calisthenics, it is best to let the doctor check it first, and then do it when physical conditions permit. Pay attention to some problems when doing calisthenics so as not to cause harm to the body.

① We should start with light exercise and gradually increase the amount of exercise to match the recovery of physical strength.

Don't do it when you are in poor health and have a fever.

Don't do it immediately after eating.

(4) to urinate before exercise.

⑤ The parturient after cesarean section should start doing it after removing the stitches. People with vaginal and perineal incisions or lacerations should avoid actions to promote the recovery of pelvic floor muscles before the wound is recovered.

Exercise is limited to your body not being overtired.

⑦ For those who have separated rectus abdominis, do it after the upper abdominal belt.

⑧ Exercise should be persistent, and only daily persistence can be effective.

Pet-name ruby indoor air is fresh and cheerful. Indoor temperature is suitable, so light exercise is advisable.

Postpartum physical recovery is a long-term process, as long as we can adhere to a reasonable diet. Scientific exercise can achieve good results. What young mothers need to pay attention to is that due to physical and other factors, everyone's physical recovery is often different. Don't blindly compare, it will lead to depression and affect the health of mother and baby. You should have confidence in yourself. Every mother in the world is the most beautiful!

6. Help you solve common postpartum diseases

Postpartum women often have some big and small problems. Some women look down on some serious illnesses and think that there will be no problems in the past, and as a result, their health is threatened. There are also women who take some minor illnesses seriously and make a fuss when something happens, making them nervous and weak. In fact, every pregnant woman and her family should know something about some common problems after delivery, so as not to worry themselves.

(1) Discomfort that will be relieved gradually after delivery.

1 numbness of hands and feet. Postpartum edema, or postpartum fatigue can not be completely eliminated, and sometimes there will be numbness in hands and feet. Occasionally, I feel weak hands and heavy legs, and these symptoms will disappear with the recovery of my body.

② Muscle stiffness and pain. Maternal women not only have to prop up their bellies throughout pregnancy, but also consume a lot of calories during delivery. Maternal women often feel pain in their waist muscles. Premature and excessive activity in puerperium, unaccustomed to sitting and feeding are all causes of low back pain. Most postpartum patients can relieve themselves. If they can't relieve themselves for a long time, they should consult a doctor.

③ Headache and top-heavy feeling. Women with postpartum anemia and hypertension, who are overworked, have a bad rest, or have used anesthetic during cesarean section, sometimes feel headache or heavy head. If you get enough sleep and rest, most of the symptoms can be alleviated, but consult a doctor when the symptoms are serious.

(2) Postpartum discomfort that needs prevention and treatment.

Some parturients often feel wrist pain, which may be related to frequent use of hands. Although lying-in women don't do heavy physical labor, it is easy to cause this disease by repeating single labor for a long time, such as washing diapers with cold water, washing clothes and holding children. In addition, the fluctuation of endocrine hormones in maternal body may also be related to this disease.

Maternal women should pay attention to reasonable arrangements for housework and try to avoid repeated labor for too long. When you feel sore and bloated, you should pay attention to rest and massage your wrist alternately with your hands until the discomfort disappears. Then work in a different way. Don't wash with cold water for a long time in winter. I don't feel sore after washing my wrist every time.

Once the parturient has wrist pain, wrist activity and cold water stimulation should be avoided first, especially when the wrist is swollen. Topical hot compress or safflower oil can be applied to the affected area and gently rubbed, 4 ~ 6 times a day. If the above methods are ineffective or the symptoms are aggravated, block therapy can be adopted. Intrathecal injection of prednisolone 5mg plus 1% procaine 1 ~ 2ml, once a week, * * * 2 ~ 3 times. Avoid excessive wrist movement during treatment. Most patients can be cured by intrathecal injection. Surgical treatment is feasible for a few patients with long course of disease, recurrent attacks or ineffective local blocking treatment.

(3) Problems that must be paid attention to after delivery.

Puerperal anemia is the most likely to occur. Don't think anemia is nothing. It will make people weak, lose appetite, reduce people's resistance, and easily lead to postpartum perineal incision infection or slow healing. Severe anemia can cause chest tightness, palpitation and headache. , leading to many complications, so it is necessary to treat it in time.

If it is only mild anemia, you can adjust your diet and eat more animal viscera, fish, shrimp, eggs, green leafy vegetables, cereals, peanuts and so on. But if anemia is serious, you need to take medicine and transfuse blood if necessary.

For some common postpartum diseases. Maternal women should have a full understanding, neither letting themselves drift nor worrying too much. If in doubt, you can also consult a doctor, who will give you a lot of health guidance.

7. The maternity dress is exquisite.

What to wear after childbirth? Many parturients are confused about this. It's wrong to wear too much, and it's not good to wear too little. What should I pay attention to in maternity clothes?

As mentioned above, don't believe the saying that "the sky covers the sun", and the clothes of pregnant women should be adjusted accordingly with the climate change of the four seasons.

In summer, the clothes and bedding of lying-in women should not be too thick, so they can wear cotton singlets, pants and socks to avoid the wind. Bedding must use pure cotton towel products to absorb sweat, dispel summer heat and dampness. If the clothes smell of sweat, change them in time to prevent them from getting wet. This is what health experts say: "In summer, it gets cold."

In winter, the bed clothes of lying-in women should be soft, the bed should be padded with a thick mattress, the quilt should be soft and light, the clothes should be cotton-padded clothes and down, and thick cotton socks and cashmere socks should be worn on the feet. Lower limbs should be especially warm.

In spring and autumn, maternal clothes and bedding are slightly thicker than ordinary people. It is best not to be hot and wear thin cotton socks.

Moon clothes should pay attention to the following points:

(1) Clothing should be spacious and comfortable. Some women are afraid of getting fat after childbirth, changing their body shape, or covering their already fat bodies with thin clothes, so wearing tight clothes, corsets or jeans is not conducive to smooth blood flow, especially when the breasts are oppressed, breast abscess is prone to occur. The correct way is to wear a little wider, and it is best to wear cloth for close-fitting clothes. The abdominal belt can be properly fastened to prevent the abdominal wall from sagging, which is also conducive to the recovery of the uterus.

(2) Clothes should be of moderate thickness. Due to the decrease of postpartum resistance, clothes should be increased or decreased according to seasonal changes. Don't wear long-sleeved clothes and trousers in hot weather, and don't be afraid to show your limbs.

(3) Change clothes frequently. In particular, underwear should be washed and changed frequently, and shorts should be changed every day within 10 days to maintain hygiene and prevent infection.

(4) Shoes should be soft. It is best to wear cloth shoes, not hard-soled shoes, not to wear leather shoes with heels, in case of postpartum sole, heel pain, or abdominal pain. In addition, don't go barefoot after delivery, barefoot will catch cold, which is not good for your health.

(5) You can also wear a bra after delivery. Breast-feeding women's breasts are significantly larger than those of non-pregnant women. Wearing a bra plays a great role in preventing excessive sagging of breasts, and can also reduce or eliminate discomfort when walking. Bras also have the function of protecting nipples, which can prevent bacteria from polluting nipples, reduce or avoid the friction between clothes and nipples, and prevent nipple pain, bleeding or rupture. Wearing a bra during lactation is of great benefit to health and bodybuilding.

Wearing a bra during lactation is different from wearing a bra during non-pregnancy in this period. It only requires supporting the breast. Not too tight. Too tight can easily lead to milk deposition, mastitis, chest compression and affect thoracic movement.

Postpartum clothes have a great influence on maternal health, so women should never wear clothes indiscriminately. Women who love beauty should pay attention to the fact that the most important thing in postpartum clothes is comfort, not beauty. Never choose clothes that are too tight, so as not to bring bad effects to your body.

8. Self-care of postpartum lochia

There is always lochia after delivery, which is a normal postpartum phenomenon. Lochiorrhea can be discharged in about three weeks, but if it lasts for more than 20 days, it is abnormal lochiorrhea. It's time to take some preventive measures.

(1) Eat and rest. If postpartum lochia continues to drip for more than 20 days, it is still unclean, with a large amount, red color, thin quality and no odor, and the parturient feels tired, lazy and empty. These manifestations show that the parturient is weak, and her vitality can't consolidate essence and blood, so that the lochia is dripping and unclean, and she can't go out after the deadline. In this case, in addition to actively seeking medical treatment, you should also cooperate with diet therapy to ensure adequate rest.

Dietotherapy should choose medicated diets that strengthen the spleen and replenish qi, such as Huai medicated porridge, red bean porridge, Euryale ferox porridge, ginseng porridge, ginseng yam black chicken soup and so on.

If you are weak and have too much lochia, you must stay in bed and minimize your activities.

Weak body, the most vulnerable to disease and evil. The maternal bedroom should be kept clean and tidy, and the room should be cool and ventilated in summer to prevent the maternal from sweating too much. There can be no through flow in case of cold and dampness. Keep warm in winter. In spring and autumn, the temperature is dry and dusty, so it is advisable to sweep indoors frequently. You can buy a basin of clean water to avoid wind drying.

(2) Pay attention to food hygiene. If the maternal body is strong, the amount of postpartum lochia is large, it is unclean after expiration, the color is bright or purple, the quality is sticky, the smell is unpleasant, and the dry mouth and throat are dry, which belongs to the phenomenon of blood heat. In this case, in addition to seeking medical treatment, special attention should be paid to diet, cleanliness and hygiene to prevent the invasion of heat evil. Maternal yang is strong, blood gas is hot, and diet should be light. She should eat more fresh fruits and vegetables, such as pears, oranges, grapefruit and apples, wash them, cut them into pieces and cook hot food. Vegetables should eat more radishes, spinach, lotus roots, wax gourd, loofah and so on. And often eat winter amaranth porridge, lotus root juice porridge, green radish porridge and so on. Drink plenty of water and avoid spicy, fried and greasy products.

Pathogenic heat causes lochia, so we should pay attention to the recurrence of heat evil. Keep the room clean, cool and ventilated, avoid excessive visits from relatives and friends, keep the vulva clean and change underwear frequently.

(3) drug therapy and mental conditioning. Postpartum lochia keeps dripping, which is astringent and uncomfortable, with a small amount, dark red color and blood clots, and the lower abdomen refuses to press it, which aggravates the pain. This situation mostly belongs to the accumulation of blood stasis in the uterus, which leads to the expiration of lochia. In this case, in addition to drug treatment, women should pay special attention to mental conditioning, followed by taking simple prescriptions.

Maternal women should not be too sad, too considerate and tired, depressed but not sparse, and liver qi stagnation. Family members should avoid using any language in front of the parturient. If the parturient has something difficult to understand, she should enlighten and comfort more, and the parturient should exercise restraint. In addition, 50 grams of motherwort can be decocted in water and added with appropriate amount of brown sugar. One dose a day, three times a week.

Postpartum women should pay more attention to self-care, pay attention to the changes of lochia, and those who keep dripping should seek medical advice in time.

9. Postpartum contraception guide

Couples can resume their sexual life in 6 ~ 8 weeks after delivery, but when and how to do postpartum contraception? Only by solving this problem can lovers rekindle their passion and return to the sweet days of the past.

Some people try to prevent pregnancy by prolonging lactation, because under normal circumstances, the menstrual cycle can be stopped naturally by inhibiting pituitary secretion and ovulation during lactation. But this role is not absolute. Once women resume their sexual life after childbirth, they should stick to contraception. Never extend breastfeeding to achieve the purpose of contraception. This is very unreliable.

So what method is used for contraception during lactation? If you are breast-feeding, you can't take birth control pills, because you can't provide your baby with enough milk after taking birth control pills, and drug hormones will enter your baby's body through breast-feeding and bring adverse effects to your baby. I suggest you use contraceptives, which are safe and have no side effects. Commonly used contraceptives include condoms, vaginal septum and intrauterine devices. Intrauterine device (IUD) has become the most widely used and popular female contraceptive device in China because of its convenient use and good effect. Generally, intrauterine devices can be placed 3 months after postpartum menstruation.

In recent years, the rate of cesarean section has obviously increased, so that the contraceptive problem of women after cesarean section has become the focus of attention. Women who have had caesarean section have left a permanent scar on their uterus. If you are pregnant again and have induced abortion, it is easy to have embryo leakage or uterine perforation, which will cause irreparable losses to women. Therefore, women after cesarean section should pay more attention to contraception.

What contraceptive method to adopt after cesarean section can be decided according to the physical condition of the parturient and whether to breastfeed.

Non-breast-feeding people can choose contraceptive drugs (long-acting and short-acting) or tools (condoms, etc. ), and contraceptive drugs should be used under the guidance of a doctor to prevent failure. Postpartum lactation, mainly take contraceptive tools, because oral contraceptives will re-adjust the hormone level in the body and affect lactation, so oral contraceptives are not advocated.

Half a year after cesarean section, whether breastfeeding or not, you can take long-term contraceptive methods such as placing intrauterine devices.

At present, a new contraceptive, Bird-Provera 150, is a long-acting contraceptive. One injection can prevent pregnancy for 3 months. According to the results of clinical research, it will not affect the quality of maternal milk, nor will it affect the growth and development of children. You might as well try.

If you don't want to get pregnant in a short time after delivery, you should do a good job of contraception. It is best to ask a doctor to recommend a contraceptive method suitable for you according to your own situation, so that you can enjoy the sweetness of love from now on.
