Moreover, 3 kg of tofu and vegetable staple food is difficult for ordinary people to eat so much. It is more convenient to supplement tofu with meat.

For human body, the absorption and utilization efficiency of plant protein is much lower than that of animal protein, because its protein molecular structure and types are not quite consistent with human body.

Therefore, from the perspective of absorption and utilization, plant protein often does not occupy too many advantages, that is, the protein waste rate of tofu you eat will be greater than that of meat.

Secondly, in terms of other components, animal protein has many essential nutrients for human body, such as lysine and immunoglobulin.

Moreover, meat contains creatine, which can help improve the water storage capacity and ATP production capacity of muscles, so it will improve our strength endurance, which is also a function that tofu, a plant protein, does not have.

So generally speaking, it makes sense for bodybuilders to choose to eat meat. Of course, tofu can also be used as a supplementary source in protein, but it is not competitive compared with meat.
