New Provisions on Parking Charge in Civil Code
Legal analysis: the ownership of parking spaces in residential quarters is stipulated in the house sales contract. If there is no agreement in the contract, the real estate development company can collect the relevant fees of the parking space by selling or renting. The advertising revenue of parking spaces, gymnasiums, shops and elevators in the community is now owned by the owners, and the property should regularly and quantitatively publicly manage the funds and service progress.

Legal basis: The ownership of the parking spaces and garages planned for parking cars in Article 275 of the Civil Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) shall be agreed upon by the parties through sale, gift or lease. Parking spaces that occupy roads or other venues owned by the owner for parking cars shall be owned by the owner.
