Beijing No.12 Middle School is the only municipal key middle school in Fengtai District and one of the first batch of 14 high school demonstration schools in Beijing. The school was originally named "Wanping Jianshi" and was founded in 1934. 1949 was renamed Beijing Fengtai Simple Normal School, and in July 195 1 was officially renamed Beijing No.12 Middle School. In September, 20001year, senior high school moved to Kefeng campus.
