The overall design scheme of the sports center was designed by Shanghai Architectural Design and Research Institute, led by the famous domestic stadium designer Wei Dunshan, forming the overall layout of the stadium with "flowers in water" and "rainbow in the air". The plot planning and urban design of the whole sports center are carefully designed by Hainan Jacques design agency, which fully embodies the development trend of "two firsts" in our city, and its form is full of the flavor of the times, fully embodying the international standard concept of "sports park"; The landscape design of the sports center is undertaken by Shanghai Landscape Design Institute. The scale positioning of the whole sports center meets the requirements of medium-sized cities.

Among them, Kunshan New Gymnasium covers an area of nearly 100 mu, with a total construction area of 27,680 ㎡ and a building height of 38 meters. It has a competition hall of 40m×70m and a training hall of 20m×80m, which can accommodate nearly 6,000 people. It is a multifunctional, comprehensive, energy-saving and modern indoor venue, which can not only hold international and domestic individual sports competitions, but also hold large-scale comprehensive cultural performances, mass gatherings, cultural entertainment and national fitness. The badminton final of the 10th National Games will be held in this museum from June 5th, 2005 to June 5th, 2005. The museum has a unique design concept in the overall modeling and artistic treatment of facade buildings. The facade combines the elliptical arc and the top arc, with the ground petal modeling and the water features of the lotus pond, showing the light and unrestrained personality of the building and giving the modern city the style and characteristics of "Qionghua in the water". In addition, the indoor LED large-screen display system in the gym is provided by the internationally renowned brand Barco Belgium. The effective display area of a single large screen is 36m2, and one is set above the east and west stands of the main stadium in the museum, which can meet the needs of various competitions, cultural performances and TV broadcasts. It is the largest full-screen full-color area display screen used in gymnasiums of the same level in China at present.
