First of all, whether you can massage is related to the prosthesis you choose. Smooth prostheses can be massaged without causing tissue damage, but rough prostheses (round and anatomical) cannot be massaged. Because after the long-haired prosthesis is implanted in women, the tissue will grow in, and repeated friction will tear off the newly grown tissue and increase tissue damage. In addition, massaging the chest after implantation of rough prosthesis may also directly lead to postoperative complications such as double capsule and rotational displacement of prosthesis.
Therefore, compared with massage, it is actually more recommended that women do static compression after breast augmentation with prosthesis, such as sleeping on their stomach, squeezing their elbows, or lying on their side. Static compression is suitable for rough and smooth prosthesis.
