Judo originated in Japan and belongs to fighting antagonistic sport. It is regarded as a "national skill" by the Japanese nation and is a compulsory course for boys in primary and secondary schools. All kinds of schools have judo halls, and professional judo teachers are hired to take charge of judo teaching and training in schools. Through judo training, we can establish a good outlook on life, promote the overall improvement of physical function, be more sensitive in mental reaction and be more agile in limbs. Due to the late introduction to China and poor mass base, the development status of judo clubs is not optimistic. Therefore, this paper makes a special study on the present situation of Guangzhou Judo Club and puts forward corresponding countermeasures.

First, the development status of Guangzhou Judo Club

(1) The government has not paid enough attention to it.

Government policies are not conducive to the development of judo. Judo is an antagonistic event in the same field, with many physical contacts and fierce competition, which easily leads to prejudice and even misunderstanding of judo, and the government is no exception. Therefore, in the absence of government support, judo clubs mostly aim at recreation, entertainment and fitness.

(2) The level of coaches needs to be improved.

The coaches of Guangzhou Judo Club are mostly college students and fresh graduates, with excellent sports skills and insufficient teaching experience. Judo coaches have higher recognition for basic classes, but lower recognition for intermediate and advanced classes. Mainly reflected in the single teaching method, outdated teaching methods, coaches' practical ability and theoretical level gap.

Second, Guangzhou Judo Club Development Countermeasures

(1) The government attaches great importance to the process.

The development of sports cannot be separated from the government's attention. The higher the government attaches importance to it, the faster the development of sports, and judo is no exception. The improvement of most judo clubs in terms of unqualified hardware facilities, lack of systematic teaching programs and evaluation standards cannot be separated from the government's attention. First of all, the government should strictly stipulate the standards for the construction of judo clubs, and make compulsory rectification or reconstruction of judo clubs with unqualified hardware facilities. Secondly, develop a systematic syllabus and evaluation criteria, and conduct regular tests. Those who failed the test were forbidden to practice the difficult judo. Finally, give play to the macro-control role of the government, reduce the tax revenue of judo clubs and promote the development of judo clubs in Guangzhou.

(2) Improve the teaching level of coaches.

The teaching level of coaches is inextricably linked with the future and development of club members. High teaching level of coaches leads to low turnover rate of members, while low teaching level leads to high turnover rate of members.
