Hua tuo wuqinxi originated in Bozhou, and was created by Hua Tuo with the images and movements of tigers, deer, apes, bears, birds and other animals according to the operating rules of yin and yang, five elements, dirty images, meridians and qi and blood in traditional Chinese medicine.
Hua tuo wuqinxi, the five movements have their own characteristics and emphases, but they are also a whole. If you can always insist on comprehensive exercises, you can play the role of recuperating spirit, regulating qi and blood, nourishing viscera, dredging meridians and activating bones and muscles.
The development of history
Some people think that Hua Tuo is the organizer of Wu Qin opera, and there were many similar fitness methods before the Han Dynasty. The earliest record of "Wuqinxi" is Tao Hongjing's Record of Keeping Healthy and Prolonging Life in the Southern and Northern Dynasties.
Others believe that it is said that Hua Tuo, a famous doctor in the Eastern Han Dynasty, imitated the movements of five animals: tiger, deer, bear, ape and crane, and created a set of medical qigong to prevent and cure diseases and prolong life. It is a bionic achievement method, which is characterized by "external movement and internal quietness", "seeking quietness in movement" and "both movement and static", combining rigidity and flexibility, and both internal and external repair.
Bozhou Municipal Government and Wuqinxi Association are actively promoting this fitness campaign and striving to build a position like Taiji.
