Qingdao Guoxin Gymnasium can accommodate12,500 spectators and is equipped with four full-color funnel screens. The construction standard meets the requirements of American NBA competition and can meet the audience's viewing needs from all angles. It is divided into four floors. On the first floor, there are facilities such as gymnasiums and large-scale training halls. On the first floor, there are competition halls and VIP areas, journalists' studios and rest areas for athletes and referees. On the second and third floors, there are audience areas with a podium and 48 private rooms. In order to welcome the ice events of the 11th National Games, Qingdao Guoxin Gymnasium introduced the international advanced mobile skating rink technology from Finland, with an area of 1.800 square meters-the first skating rink in Shandong Province that meets the international competition standards has been laid, and five short track speed skaters, including China's first gold medal winner in the Winter Olympics, have come here to try skating, believing that this skating rink has reached the world-class level.
According to the schedule, on March 13, Guoxin Gymnasium will host the short track speed skating test competition of the 11th National Games, and the short track speed skating and figure skating competitions of the 11th National Games will be held in early April. Between May and June, 5438+00, badminton preliminaries and table tennis finals will also be held in the stadium. Because the ice belt in the gymnasium is movable, it only takes one week to complete the transition from undertaking ice events to other events. During the 11th National Games, Qingdao Guoxin Gymnasium will hold four competitions: short track speed skating, figure skating, table tennis and badminton.
Guoxin Gymnasium is called "Diamond Gymnasium" by local citizens because it looks like a "gem".
