My wonderful meeting with TR
Because of allergic rhinitis, I had the idea of running; With Zeyu's encouragement and guidance, I ran for more than two years, with a distance of more than 2,000 kilometers, and participated in the half-horse race.

Because of running, I moved the idea of fitness, just to run healthier and longer; Under the guidance and company of coach Angus in TR studio, he completed the transformation from fitness white to fitness enthusiast.

Meeting TR Studio and Angus was an accident. In the first half of this year, serious knee discomfort forced me to stop running for more than a month. From a painful experience, I decided to learn how to run scientifically under the guidance of a coach. My student Min Yi strongly recommended coach Angus to me after knowing my thoughts. I still remember her original words: "Angus is the best and most powerful coach in the school, no one." Then, in order to prove her conclusion, she sent a contrast photo before and after her fitness. Oh, my God! Not only lost a lot of weight, but also changed temperament! What could be more convincing than a living example? I decided to go and have a look. To tell the truth, at my age, I still have some doubts about going to the gym. I'm afraid of meeting students in the gym. I'm worried that my physical fitness and understanding are not enough to learn. I'm worried that my colleagues will think I didn't do my duty ... Two days later, when I sat in TR studio and talked with coach Angus, my worries were basically eliminated. It turns out that this is not a traditional gym, but a fitness studio. Different from gyms, they recruit students through personal trainers and group classes instead of opening cards. Later, my own class experience proved that there were few people in the studio, and there would never be such a hot and lively scene in the gym, which effectively guaranteed privacy. Of course, I haven't participated in the weekend group class, and I don't know what the group class is like. Coach Angus's communication style makes me feel comfortable, and my intuition tells me that this coach is quite reliable. I am a person who is not picky. I feel almost the same, so I decided.

It is also inevitable to meet TR and coach Angus. It turns out that my intuition didn't deceive me. Angus is young, but his professional level and experience are unambiguous. Not to mention the professional certificate in the studio, just look at the training plan he designed every time he trained, and explain the essentials and principles of each training action before doing it, so that people can feel his professionalism. Later, everyone became familiar with it and talked more and more, only to know that his professionalism came not only from his five-year teaching experience, but also from his diligent and constantly improving learning attitude. He said that basically every month, he would go out for professional training or get a professional certificate to broaden his horizons and improve his professional level. He said that the most important thing his teacher taught him was, "A good coach must never rely on selling lessons; Just do what you have to do! "I have to say, these three views are too close to me! Attract students by major and expand the market by word of mouth. You are your best product manager! Angus does. He never sold me his lessons, and even suggested that I buy them rationally according to my own situation. Do you think this kind of coach is reliable?

In the TR studio, classes are held for five weeks before and after, with an average of three or four trainings per week. Objectively speaking, every training is not easy. For more than a month, it can be said that every inch of muscles in the whole body has been properly "greeted" by training movements. I still remember doing lunges and squats for the first time, and my thighs hurt the next day! A similar story, every time you learn a new movement in the initial course, you will repeat it the next day: neck, arm, forearm, hip, back, hip, thigh, calf … In short, you have experienced that kind of "delayed pain" from head to toe. Later, the coach gave me a foam shaft and told me to use it to roll the muscles in the corresponding parts before and after each training to help me relax. He asked me to stay for a while and roll to the most painful place at the same time. I was known as "not afraid of pain" since I was a child. Every time I get a vaccine in the village, I am the first one, and then I tell my friends that it doesn't hurt at all. However, this kind of foam shaft rolling really hurts me! The most exasperating thing is that the coach actually said to relax when you leave! Are you kidding me internationally? Obviously, it hurts. The instinctive reaction of muscles to this stimulus must be tightening. How can they relax? But gradually, I found that muscles have strong adaptability, and the pain of birth, illness and death at first gradually eased and disappeared; Then I found that I couldn't live without this artifact. Looking back today, I not only adapted to the foam shaft, but also improved my muscle strength after systematic training, and I was no longer so sensitive to training movements.

Coach Angus is considerate to students. Every time I do an action, I will patiently ask, "Do the muscles feel?" Before each class, I will confirm "What's wrong with you today?" ; Occasionally, I have some muscle discomfort, and he can keenly capture it from my subtle gentle rubbing or pressing movements, and then adjust the training movements accordingly. Besides training in class, he will keep in touch with his classmates after class, communicate online and answer their questions. Even for psychological fluctuations such as impatience and depression, he should follow up in time, because emotions have a great influence on training. I remember he said, "As a coach, insight and communication skills are very important." Indeed, Angus doesn't talk much, is humble but not stuffy, and is very comfortable to communicate with.

Coach Angus is also strict and "cruel" to students. He has high requirements for training movements, such as squatting, jumping, push-ups, quick handstand, dumbbell movements ... At the end of each training movement, he will shout "Come on, there are the last two!" . The most exasperating thing is that in every training plan, the final finishing project must be the most tiring one, and it is also euphemistically called: this is called breaking through yourself. TABATA, a four-minute, 20-second training program with four cycles before and after, is called "Devil Plan", and Angus puts it at the end of training almost every time. When I first came into contact with this project, I simply hated it. Every time I finish it, I'm exhausted and out of breath. That feeling seems to be back to the moment when I ran 800 meters in college. However, it's really strange that I started to get addicted after practicing for several times. I often make two sets of TABATA when I don't have enough time in the morning, but it only takes 10 minutes before and after, but it is enough to make me sweat, wet my clothes and feel full of accomplishment.

Five weeks of fitness time is not long, but it is enough to make me love fitness.

I fell in love with fitness, because it really made me see my change. Before the course started, the coach asked me, "What is the purpose of your fitness?" I told him about my running experience and told him clearly that "in order to run healthier and longer." Angus, according to my goal, in the initial training, I mainly focused on strengthening the training of cardiopulmonary function, stability and core strength, such as lunge jump, squat jump, standing, leg lifting, swallow style, flat support and so on. Before the course began, my 5 km pace had dropped to about 6 minutes and 30 seconds per kilometer, and in many cases it was even about 6 minutes and 45 seconds. At the end, my 5 km pace actually rushed to 5 minutes and 37 seconds! Before the course started, I thought I was not fat, so I didn't aim at reducing fat and shaping. In the middle and late stage of the course, I asked the coach how to solve the problem of my shoulder and back fat. The coach told me that the first thing to do is to reduce the body fat rate; Secondly, there is something wrong with my posture, which needs to be adjusted accordingly. In fact, Angus has included posture adjustment in the training range since the first class. That's why there are various elastic belt, I-shaped training and straight arm support training programs. By the end of the course, my posture has improved obviously, and I will consciously sink my shoulders, hold my chest out and raise my head when walking, standing and sitting. Later courses added dumbbells, barbells, weight-bearing squats, pull-ups and other actions. The coach told me that these strength training can help me lose fat and gain muscle more effectively. At the end of the five-week course, my body fat rate dropped from 25% to 265,438+0%. No wonder my friends saw me recently and said I lost weight again. In fact, I know that the weight has not changed significantly, but the body fat rate has changed.

I fell in love with fitness, because it made me return to basics, learned and fell in love with healthy eating. As we all know, diet is very important for health and body shaping. But it has always been thought that eating more vegetables than meat is a healthy diet. If it weren't for Angus, I don't know how long my misunderstanding would last. I made my own fitness meal for the first time and gave it to the coach. He advised me to reduce my carbohydrate intake appropriately. The next day, I reduced the amount of cereal. He added: "Why only vegetables without meat?" . I froze. "Didn't you tell me to eat less carbohydrates? I lost it! " Then he told me that vegetables are also carbohydrates. Reducing fat and increasing muscle is not about not eating meat, but paying attention to the types of meat. Fish, shrimp, beef, chicken breast and eggs are all particularly good sources in protein, so we must take them in full. Because fitness is not easy, I began to reject all kinds of unhealthy food, high-salt and high-oil food, and tried to keep the original flavor of various ingredients when making food. Then, I suddenly found that carrots are sweet, cucumbers are crisp, and sweet potatoes are soft ... Even avocados that I never eat have a special taste. Yes, everything in the world has its own form and taste. Accept them as they are.

I love fitness because it makes me understand that people should not set limits for themselves, and anything is possible. I have always understood this truth, but I have never understood it so deeply. As a person who failed physical education since childhood, I never thought I could run a marathon. I never dreamed that I would walk into the gym and receive fitness training. I don't even think I can lift iron, do more than 20 standard push-ups in a row, and even try to do pull-ups. On the twentieth day of the course, I was quite depressed because I couldn't complete the 100 standing support arranged by the coach in class. The coach said to me, "Don't worry, you broke through yourself twenty days ago." Now, yes, release a little bit every day, break through a little bit every day, and finally achieve qualitative change.

There is another special reason for falling in love with fitness: I am a university teacher. After nearly 20 years of teaching, I always feel that I know a lot about education. However, coach Angus showed me what I lacked as an educator. In the course training, I saw what teaching students in accordance with their aptitude is; I understand what step by step means; I saw how encouragement and affirmation can stimulate students' potential. To this end, I once joked with Angus: "Should I pay you double the tuition?" .

A five-week course is really easy. The cheers of the coach during the training, the trembling arm in the mirror when he laboriously lifted the dumbbell, and the sweat on his forehead and chest at the end of the training ... are like the lens of an old movie, which is slowly replayed and clearly visible. Five weeks is not the end, but the beginning. Thanks for meeting TR studio and coach Angus on the way to fitness.

There are no traces of time, but there are traces of movement. It carved my body, my will and my years. One day, when I look back on those people who walked side by side in these days, my mouth will rise: everything is the best meeting.
