What will be the future development of the sports market?
China's sports as an industry, or industry, is far from meeting the government's expectations when formulating policies. I'm not sure I can meet this expectation in the future.

Like many industries, the development of sports industry is driven by the government, not by consumers; And this is a chicken or egg problem: if the government does not give some guidance from the policy side and then invest some money, will there be companies investing in such an industry that needs consumers but lacks consumption? When we talk about sports industry, it is the development of its market development process, and its future prospects are related to the following two issues.

Cut off the relationship between the national team and the professional league. Because of the directional contradiction between them, the incentive mechanism of professional athletes and the motivation to join the national team eventually contradict each other. In terms of leagues, the so-called amateur basketball leagues in Guangdong are in full swing, and the players' income is also quite good. This kind of competition is cultivated in the form of market, and its internal problems and contradictions should also be solved by market mechanism. The national team still represents the highest level of athletes, but because the domestic leagues still can't reach their sports level, they still pay foreign teams to compete with our athletes all the year round to achieve the purpose of sports.

Under the premise that the monopoly nature of TV stations remains unchanged, the income of domestic leagues cannot go up. The income source of all professional sports is the first, generally the income from live copyright. However, under the current national conditions in China, almost no one can negotiate with TV stations, so the biggest source of income is missing. For example, even if CBA develops into the first league in the world, will CCTV pay a high copyright fee for its copyright? CBA is more likely to sell its broadcasting rights in other parts of the world at a higher price.

China people themselves don't like competition and pay attention to the golden mean. There are also some reasons. After all, sports events are wars in peacetime. Even if the market mechanism is completely liberalized, maybe consumers don't exercise at all? Don't watch the ball at all? This is also possible. After all, as an enterprise, it is a probability of success.
