Nanjing Cancer Friends Rehabilitation Association was established in nanjing general hospital of nanjing military command in May, 1995, with Liu Fukun (director of oncology surgery) and Kong Lingren (professor of Nanjing University, gastric cancer) as sponsors. Professor Liu Fukun, a famous surgeon in Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, has made outstanding contributions to the establishment and work of the association and was hired as the chief consultant of our association.

The Association publishes "Friends of Cancer Newsletter" three or four times a year, which is distributed to members free of charge for external communication. The Association established its website in 2007, and the Xiqiao Cancer Friends Rehabilitation Forum was established in September 20 12.
