Constitution of Chinese Gymnastics Association
Chapter I General Provisions

Article 1 The Chinese Gymnastics Association is a national mass sports organization with independent legal personality, which is referred to as "Chinese Gymnastics Association" or "CGA" in English.

Article 2 The Chinese Gymnastics Association is a group member of the All-China Sports Federation, which is a national sports association recognized by the Chinese Olympic Committee and the only legal organization that represents China in the International Gymnastics Federation and the corresponding international gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics and other activities.

Article 3 The purpose of the Chinese Gymnastics Association is to unite gymnasts and rhythmic gymnasts throughout the country, mobilize all positive factors, and strive to promote the extensive development of gymnastics throughout the country; Quickly improve the level of sports technology and climb the world sports peak; Strengthen contact and cooperation with international gymnastics organizations, and enhance friendship and exchanges with gymnastics associations and athletes from various countries (regions).

Article 4 The headquarters of the Chinese Gymnastics Association is located in Beijing.

Chapter II Appointment

Article 5 The task of the Chinese Gymnastics Association is to organize and coordinate the development of national gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics in accordance with the national sports guidelines, policies and regulations, and promote the progress of gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics in Asia and the world.

Its responsibilities are: 1. Actively publicize and carry out gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics activities, and strive to promote the implementation of the "Olympic glory plan" and the "national fitness plan." 2. Be fully responsible for the business management of this project, and study and formulate the project development plan and related policies; 3. Be responsible for the construction of excellent sports teams and the training of reserve talents, select and recommend coaches and athletes of national training teams, organize national training, and strive to improve the training level of teams; Four, responsible for the organization and management of the national competition of this project, study and formulate the competition system, plan, rules and referee law. Responsible for approving and organizing international competitions and activities held in China; Five, responsible for coordinating and organizing the training of gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics coaches, athletes and referees, formulate the technical grade system for athletes and referees, be responsible for the examination and approval to the relevant administrative departments, participate in the evaluation of coaches' technical titles, and be responsible for the examination and handling of athletes' qualifications; 6. Organize a national academic conference on gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics, actively carry out scientific research on gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics, organize international and domestic technical research, and publish professional publications; Seven, actively carry out international exchanges and technical exchanges, responsible for the selection and organization of visiting teams; Eight, actively promote gymnastics, rhythmic gymnastics, strive for the support and help from all walks of life, expand the source of funds after the materialization of the association and carry out business activities related to the project, and enhance the vitality and stamina of self-development; Nine, widely unite all walks of life, give full play to the role of the association as a bridge and link.

Chapter III Members

Article 6 All provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government, cities under separate state planning, the People's Liberation Army, various industrial systems or other gymnastics organizations recognized by laws and regulations may be accepted as group members. The Chinese Gymnastics Association only recognizes one gymnastics association organization in the above areas or systems, and the association must be approved by the corresponding sports administrative department. Each member association has the right to manage the activities held within its jurisdiction. Rights of the seventh member

1. Have the right to participate in various activities organized by the Chinese Gymnastics Association, and group members can organize activities within their jurisdiction; 2. Have the right to apply for and hold international and domestic competitions designated by the Chinese Gymnastics Association; Three, have the right to put forward opinions and suggestions on the work of this association; 4. Have the right to supervise the work of the Chinese Gymnastics Association; 5. Have the right to vote and be elected; Six, have the right to apply for withdrawal from the association.

Article 8 obligations of members 1. Abide by the articles of association and implement the resolutions of the association; Second, actively participate in and undertake the work and tasks of this association. Third, pay the membership dues on time.

Article 9 Members of a registered group must register with the Chinese Gymnastics Association in writing from February 20th to 3rd1every year, and pay the registration fee and membership fee.

Article 10 Any sports organization applying to join the Chinese Gymnastics Association must submit it in writing and attach the following materials: 1. Articles of Association; Two, the association registered in the local civil affairs department of the examination and approval certificate and a copy of the registration form; Third, the organization of the association.

Article 11 A member who withdraws from the League must report in writing to the Chinese Gymnastics Association, and once approved, all activities related to the Chinese Gymnastics Association will be terminated.

Article 12 Anyone who has one of the following circumstances, with the approval of the National Committee, shall be disqualified from the membership of the Chinese Gymnastics Association: failing to pay the payable amount to the Chinese Gymnastics Association; 2. Serious violation of the Constitution and relevant regulations of the Chinese Gymnastics Association; Three, causing significant political influence, significant economic losses or damage to the reputation of the association.

Chapter IV Organization

Article 13 The National Congress of the Chinese Gymnastics Association is the highest authority of the Chinese Gymnastics Association.

Article 14 The National Committee of the Chinese Gymnastics Association is the executive body of the Congress and leads the work of the Congress when it is not in session.

Article 15 The secretariat of the Chinese Gymnastics Association is the permanent office of the Association. When the National Committee is not in session, it handles the daily work of the Association under the leadership of the Chairman and Vice Chairman.

Article 16 The special committees of the Chinese Gymnastics Association are the specialized working bodies of the Association, and the secretariat is responsible for coordinating the daily work. Section 1 National Congress

Article 17. The members of the National Congress of China are composed of representatives of units and departments. The deputies to the National Congress are mainly elected from the following aspects: 1. Representatives elected by members of various organizations; 2. Representatives elected by the administrative department of the State Sports Commission; 3. Representatives elected by the training, scientific research and teaching departments related to gymnastics; 4. Enterprise representatives who actively support gymnastics and contribute to the development of gymnastics; 5. Representatives of all kinds of people in society, gymnastics and rhythmic gymnastics.

Article 18 The National Congress is held every four years, and it can be held in advance or postponed according to needs.

Article 19 The functions and powers of the National Congress are as follows: to adopt and amend the constitution of the Chinese Gymnastics Association; Second, adopt and review the work report; 3. To elect or recall members of the National Committee; Fourth, review relevant proposals and resolutions.

Section 2 National Committee

Article 20 Members of the National Committee shall serve for a term of four years and may be re-elected. Those who have made outstanding contributions to this sport may be awarded corresponding reputations and honorary posts with the approval of the Committee. Article 21 The National Committee shall be convened every two years, and it may be convened in advance or postponed when necessary.
