The history of Hua Gun can be traced back to the Song Dynasty, and it is a traditional way of exercise and play. The stick dance is also a sacrificial dance of Buyi people, which is only performed on Haji Festival. Performed by Ha Mei, one, two or four people, to drive away wild ghosts and evil spirits when sending gods. Later, it became an entertaining dance, and other festivals also danced.
