Yinmachi Village is a small natural village in Mohesi Village, located in the north-south ravine at the eastern foot of Rentouya Mountain. Because there is a natural mountain spring reservoir in the north of the village, cattle often drink water here, hence the name. According to the local villagers, the name of this village was originally "Drinking Horse Pool", which later evolved into its present name. There is another legend in the village about the origin of "Drinking Horse Pool".
At the foot of the mountain behind Yinmachi Village, there is a big puddle. No matter how dry it is, the water here is always full. There is a green slate the size of a house in front of the pit. There is a big hoofprint on the slate, which is about half an inch deep.
According to legend, Mu Guiying passed by here after a battle. Her horse was tired and thirsty, and she happened to find this big puddle. The horse was thirsty and rushed to the big puddle. Just as he was about to lower his head to drink water, his front hoof slipped on the big bluestone board and lost his support. At this moment, the tall and burly horse suddenly jumped into the air and stood up, only one hind leg was strongly supported on the bluestone board. Too hard, the horseshoe stepped deeply on the slate. Since then, people have changed this big puddle into a "horse drinking pool". Therefore, this village was named "Drinking Horse Pool". With the evolution of time, over time, the name of the village was changed to "Drinking Horse Pool".
Green food base
Mohesi Village is located in the mountain area at the west foot of Cone Peak, which belongs to the deep mountain area. The income of villagers mainly comes from forestry and fruit industry. In order to manage the agricultural and sideline products produced in the village in a unified way, in 2008, the village established a green food base involving 120 farmers and covering an area of 4,000 mu, and set up a professional service team to provide villagers with one-stop services such as production management, technical training and sales.
In the daily management of the base, the service team strictly controls all kinds of pollution, applies more organic fertilizer, popularizes scientific formula fertilization technology, biological pesticides and biological control technology, and adopts real-name registration system, that is, the information of growers is marked on the agricultural and sideline products produced by each household to ensure the safety and quality of the agricultural and sideline products produced.
The village secretary said that the annual output of agricultural and sideline products in the green food base is now 275,000 kilograms, and the current sales situation is not very good. Recently, the village is negotiating with a large wholesale market in Shenyang to further expand sales channels.
