Shijiazhuang Zoo Park is divided into 18 functional areas according to the terrain, such as gate area, flamingo area, science museum, wetland bird and animal area, office area, venue area, monkey mountain, central service area, children's animal area, bird forest area, alpine animal area, raptor animal area, Asian animal area, African animal area, Australian animal area, liger Valley, pastoral scenery area and mountaineering fitness area.

There are 9 exhibition halls in the venue area, including Giraffe Pavilion, Elephant Pavilion, Amphibious Crawling Pavilion, Aquatic Pavilion, Panda Pavilion, Monkey Pavilion, Orangutan Pavilion, Mandrill Pavilion and Baboon Pavilion.

More than 250 species of rare birds and animals are exhibited in the new park, including flamingos, golden monkeys, Siberian tigers, Asian elephants, giraffes, chimpanzees, kangaroos, seals, cassowaries, white tigers, springboks and jackals, including white tigers, flamingos, wildebeests, antelopes, white-faced wildebeests and European argali.
