In recent years, the school has increased its investment in infrastructure, and has successively built and rebuilt student dormitories. At present, there are seven dormitories in Taoyuan, Apricot Garden, Pear Garden, Orange Garden, Bamboo Garden, Nanyuan Garden and Meiyuan ***6 1, and there are 4-6 undergraduate dormitories. All rooms have air conditioning and private bathrooms.

Laundry: There are laundry rooms or laundry spots in the park where students live to provide convenience for students.

Toilet: With the continuous construction and upgrading of students' accommodation in the school, all dormitories are equipped with air conditioning, and basically there are independent toilets.

The school can be traced back to East Sichuan Normal School as early as 1906, and 1936 was renamed Sichuan Institute of Education. 1950, Sichuan Institute of Education merged with the National Women's Teachers College to form Southwest Normal College, and the departments of agriculture, horticulture and agricultural products manufacturing merged with the private Xianghui College founded by 1946 to form Southwest Agricultural College.
