Dueling is an offensive and defensive combat routine conducted by two or more people according to predetermined procedures. There are three training methods: unarmed training, equipment training and unarmed training with equipment.

Fighting is a form of antagonistic movement in which two people compete with each other under certain conditions and according to certain rules. At present, there are three kinds of Wushu competitions that are gradually being carried out: Sanshou, Pushing Hands and Short Soldiers.
