Can obesity affect sexual life?
Obesity is a problem that many modern people are very worried about, because now that living conditions are good and food is abundant, it is easy to lead to obesity, especially for women who eat snacks in the same room. Obesity not only affects beauty, but also has a certain impact on life. Does obesity affect sexual life? How to lose weight and prevent obesity?

1, obesity will affect sexual life.

Only Tongans in the world regard obesity as beauty, but most cultures do not agree with this aesthetic view. Nevertheless, men's obesity is easily accepted by people, and the "general's belly" seems to show massiness and strength. Women's obesity will lead to a sharp decline in value. Even high-ranking officials and rich people will inevitably let others say "like an old lady" behind their backs. This critical title makes them feel depressed or frustrated. But people pay more and more attention to the close relationship between obesity and many health problems, such as heart disease, diabetes, fatty liver and arteriosclerosis. Although the psychological characteristics of overweight people should not be significantly different from those of normal weight, and there should be no difficulties in sexual relations, in fact, some people do affect their sexual expression ability or breed some more serious psychological problems because of obesity.

Some obviously overweight women lack confidence in their body image and even feel extremely uneasy. For example, they don't want their partners to see their naked photos, so they insist on turning off the lights before going to bed. Forced to eat because of mood swings or life problems, they are less and less sensitive to the signals of hunger and satiety, thus losing control of their food intake. They seem to be psychologically addicted to food, and only when they eat it will they get rid of all kinds of social or mental pressures and be unaffected by other people's emotions. When they become obese in adolescence, their opportunities for social activities will be reduced, so they will feel abandoned, lonely and lack of self-esteem. If this situation continues, they will lack interpersonal skills and experience, and their sexual psychological development will not be perfect.

Obese women may also encounter sexual problems in the process of losing weight, because they don't have enough time to adapt to their new body image, such as the other party's increased sexual requirements, which makes them feel scared. In addition, some people have high expectations for losing weight, thinking that losing weight will bring back the long-lost feelings of their husbands. However, fantasy will not make all problems linger, and life will not naturally become perfect, so psychological imbalance will stimulate more serious marital or sexual conflicts. Because obesity is not only determined by physiological factors that calorie intake is greater than consumption, but also influenced by genetic and psychological factors, only taking measures such as dieting, chewing slowly, and even liposuction, gastric balloon surgery or intestinal reconstruction surgery may not bring lasting weight loss effect, and sometimes rebound.

In recent 20 years, foreign countries have noticed a new eating disorder, called bulimia, which refers to those patients who overeat on the one hand, but on the other hand, maintain a low weight level through self-vomiting, abuse of laxatives or diuretics, excessive exercise and fasting. Overeating is often stimulated by factors such as excessive dieting, or it may be caused by extreme mental pain. The other is to enhance their sexual attraction and save their marriage relationship that is on the verge of breaking up. Young women are prone to bulimia and will lose their sense of security because of difficulties in marriage, sex or career, thus making themselves out of control. Of course, their overeating will not achieve the expected effect, because what they need is not slimness but meaningful interpersonal relationships and marriage relationships.

Love, desire and sexual activity of bulimia patients and obese patients are generally reduced, and their main problems are often not these sexual problems, but closely related to them. They are easy to lack their due sense of responsibility, accompanied by some personality problems or interpersonal problems, poor social skills, and lose their fighting spirit and pursuit in life. In order to overcome these problems, we should encourage patients to face up to their self-image and self-worth through education and psychotherapy, eliminate all kinds of insecurity and anxiety, summon up courage to establish normal interpersonal and social skills, improve the relationship between husband and wife, and pay attention to fundamentally strengthen emotional communication between husband and wife, so as to restore self-confidence and normal eating habits.

2. Excessive weight loss is harmful to sexual life.

At present, two hot topics that people are generally concerned about are weight control and improving the quality of sexual life, and many people often worry about it. There are many articles on these two aspects, but they are rarely considered together. Now discuss the internal relationship between them.

Lose weight and keep slim to meet the requirements of society for women's image and role, which is easy to win the favor of men. It is a good thing to keep in shape and pursue beauty, but many people never think that there is a limit to everything, and excess will affect their health. Some young women even suffer from anorexia nervosa because of excessive weight loss, and even pay the price of their lives. For example, a female high school student began to lose weight blindly because some people said she was plump. After a few months, she lost weight, but she was still too weak to go to physical education class. The psychological impact of amenorrhea simply made her lose confidence. Although tenacious, she finally stepped into the university gate, but her parents looked at her fragile appearance, what could they do except secretly shed tears? Why bother!

People have known about anorexia nervosa for more than 100 years, and the disease has obviously increased in recent 20 years. On the one hand, the actual incidence rate has increased, on the other hand, because of the improvement of diagnostic level, patients who were missed and misdiagnosed in the past have been diagnosed clearly. Early diagnosis and treatment of this eating disorder can reduce the mortality from 10%- 15% to 0%-5%. Anorexia nervosa is a complex symptom, which involves physical, emotional and behavioral changes caused by aversion to food and fear of being overweight. They regard food as a terrible enemy, so they try to avoid eating, make themselves hungry, exercise crazily, always read and collect recipes, and are keen on cooking. Although no one is immune to this disease, it is more common in adolescent women, and the ratio of male to female is 1∶9. Most of them come from upper-middle class families, which are mostly women, with many daughters, few sons and older parents. Although parents think the family is stable and happy, they actually hide tension and marital conflicts, or family members have emotional disorders or a history of alcoholism. They are often confident that they can control their own lives, are divorced from society and are very introverted. They try their best to be perfectionists. They have been "model" children since childhood, misinterpreting their body image and limiting their weight to too low a goal. Although they are thin, they are still not satisfied. Anorexia often stimulates them to grow excessively, thin and tall.

Many women are not necessarily anorexic, but have subclinical eating disorders. They pay too much attention to their weight like anorexia, and as a result, they will excessively stimulate their body to grow taller, and there will be irregular menstruation common to anorexia, but amenorrhea will be less.

In the past, anorexia was considered as a defense mechanism for patients to resist their subjectively unacceptable sexual impulses and loveliness. Recently, however, people have realized that eating disorders are more influenced by social concepts (emphasizing thinness as beauty and health) on vulnerable individuals. Changes in sexual characteristics, such as the rapid feminization of the body after puberty, will stimulate girls' sexual concerns and unconscious sexual fears (they may not necessarily admit this), especially breast development, menarche and cuteness after contact with the opposite sex, which may become a major psychological crisis for young women's sexual life. People observed the sexual aversion of anorexia nervosa about 20 years ago, because repressive education convinced them that sex is a bad thing, chastity is a lofty virtue and the greatest capital of women. Compared with normal peers, anorexia nervosa patients who refuse sexual behavior show immature sexual psychology, which is related to their immature personality and psychological development before illness. They know little about the anatomy of female genitalia, menstrual physiology, fertility and contraception, and sexual knowledge. They never read books and materials related to reproduction and sex, never look at themselves naked in the mirror, and they are very unwilling and difficult to discuss sexual issues. They don't like bulging breasts, hate menstruation, hate genitals and are afraid of pregnancy. In particular, the comments of the surrounding men about their increasingly feminine body shape have caused them tension and discomfort, and even they are very afraid of it. So they try their best to suppress loveliness, avoid sexual contact opportunities, and often have serious resistance and self-blame for sexual impulses. Anorexia has become their self-defense mechanism against impulse and affection, in an attempt to maintain a stable and calm life before puberty; Some women also have traumatic experiences, and they often take this as a defensive measure, thinking that excessive emaciation can enhance the so-called sense of security. They are often too emaciated and accompanied by amenorrhea, and the biological degradation caused by this sharp emaciation induces the disorder of reproductive endocrine and hormone levels. The decrease of pituitary gonadotropin and sex hormone is most related to sexual ability, which is contrary to the increase of pituitary gonadotropin level after the decrease of peripheral estrogen in menopausal women. Therefore, the reproductive endocrine abnormalities of anorexia nervosa are characterized by low hypothalamic gonadal function and low levels of related hormones. If it is a male, the serum testosterone level will drop.

People with mild illness will have a negative attitude towards sexual behavior. Their sexual psychological development is slow, they get married late, their desire is low, their marriage relationship is immature, and they are afraid of female private parts examination and childbirth pain. I often feel guilty and blame myself for my lovable sexual behavior, resulting in psychological conflicts. Can participate in sexual activities but have no response, can't enjoy sexual pleasure, and is highly dependent on men. If they keep active sexual activity, they may feel pain or discomfort in the same room because of the loss of fat in the pelvic area, and they will also lack lubrication in the same room. This disease is also seen in men, indicating that these pathological changes are not gender-dependent.

Anorexia nervosa often leads to amenorrhea and secondary fertility decline, but regaining a regular menstrual cycle will directly affect the degree of weight recovery of patients. Most women with secondary amenorrhea return to normal menstruation after their weight returns to normal, and premature menopause is quite rare. As for anorexia nervosa women with primary amenorrhea, it is still inconclusive whether they can get a normal menstrual cycle.

Even after rehabilitation, these women still face the problem of weak social skills, and they often have fewer opportunities to get married or maintain sexual relations. They can gain fertility, as long as they can get the corresponding weight recovery, and their children are normal at birth and childhood, but the mortality rate in the neonatal period has increased significantly. They always consciously limit their children's calorie intake when raising their children. Children of these emotionally unstable mothers should be properly supervised to prevent malnutrition.

Treatment methods include strengthening nutrition, regaining weight, receiving sex education and paying attention to cuteness. These patients should also be desensitized so that they will not feel anxious and out of control about physical changes and menstruation. Understandably, these developments are signals of physical growth and health, and ideal indicators of feminization and maturity. Once patients' self-esteem and self-imagination are improved through psychotherapy, they will be willing to accept the process of normal development, and start extensive social contacts and engage in normal sexual activities with appropriate encouragement. A survey in Sweden shows that 80% of young women aged 14-20 think they are overweight and should go on a diet, so improper diet control is a universal problem worthy of attention and an important cause of anorexia nervosa. Strengthening publicity and education is an important preventive measure.

Diet and sex are not irrelevant, so people should pay attention to them. Therefore, maintaining a healthy psychological state and normal sexual psychological development is one of the important contents that cannot be ignored in sex education.

3. Sexual posture that can lose weight

1. Male superior. More than 90% of couples choose this same-room posture. This posture involves stretching, arching and tightening, which can exercise the pectoral muscles, deltoid muscles, biceps and triceps well. When the woman lies flat, she can also stretch her back muscles, arch her body and tighten her abdominal muscles. During the same room, she can also lift her body and kiss her lover's lips or neck. Keeping this posture for half a minute can strengthen the waist and abdomen. Dr. Siweigaji, a roommate expert in New Delhi, said that when men are in the upper position, men's arms and shoulders are under more pressure, and their elbows and knees are balanced to the greatest extent, so their muscles are stretched.

2. Female boss. Dr. Gaji said that in addition to making it easier for women to reach orgasm, women can also effectively exercise their abdominal muscles and back muscles. The woman takes the initiative and has higher requirements for arm muscles. The man can make full use of his biceps and hold the woman for balance. Keeping a woman in the upper position for a certain period of time can exercise her biceps, triceps, forearms and chest muscles to the maximum extent. Men's upright movements can exercise waist muscles.

3. Sitting posture. Sitting posture, that is, two men and women sit opposite each other, and the woman wraps her feet around the man's waist. This position can effectively stretch the calf muscles. Because both sides should maintain a stable sitting posture and have certain strength to complete the movements in the same room, they have higher requirements for many muscle groups of the body. Dr. Puska Gupta, an Indian sexologist, said that this posture is more demanding than men and has better exercise effect. Note: If the back muscles are weak, it is best not to choose this posture, otherwise it is easy to strain the muscles.

Step 4 lean against the wall. Standing against the wall can enhance the sense of pleasure, and this posture can effectively exercise the quadriceps (front thigh muscles) and waist muscles. The man leans forward slightly, and the woman's back can be bent appropriately. Dr. Gupta said that standing against the wall in the same room requires more physical strength on both sides. In addition, in order to maintain a certain height and angle, the muscles of thighs and legs will be stretched. In addition, when performing this posture, the man can hold the woman completely, and the calories consumed in happiness will be more.

5. Shoulder style. The so-called "leg posture" means that the woman lifts her leg on the man's shoulder. This kind of integration can greatly stimulate the man's combat effectiveness, but also stretch the woman's leg muscles and exercise the abdominal muscles. Dr. Gaji said that this posture is an ideal aerobic exercise, which is equivalent to exercising in the gym for 30 minutes.

6. Squat down and bend over. In addition to the normal sexual posture, sitting, bending and squatting can extend the foreplay time. This is more advantageous than gym exercise. Because this posture requires a lot of bending and curling movements, it can exercise the spine muscles and the inner thigh muscles extremely well. Sitting or bending over can exercise abdominal muscles and make your figure more symmetrical. Note: When you have low back pain, you should not choose this posture, otherwise it will aggravate the discomfort.
