UU is the mascot of Shenzhen Universiade. It is a smiling face evolved from the emblem "Happy U" of Shenzhen Universiade, and has the shape of the initial letter "U" of "Universiade". The "UU Five-color Flower Activity" in Shenzhen's education system is to create a unique atmosphere to welcome the Universiade through a series of activities such as "Golden Ideas", "Green Services", "Der Blaue Engel", "Orange Vigor" and "Red Volunteers", and to decorate the charming Pengcheng with colorful educational colors and dress up the youth pageant.

At the opening ceremony of the Universiade, there was a torch tower engraved with 26 symbols, each symbol representing a Universiade. This is a "golden idea" collected by the "golden idea" activity of Shenzhen education system. Since the collection of "Golden Ideas" was launched, the majority of primary and secondary school students have actively participated. Shenzhen Education Bureau selects 100 "excellent golden ideas" from the collected golden ideas every month, and then selects 100 "best golden ideas" from the selected "excellent golden ideas" at the deadline of 3 1 in July.
