From 65438 to 0980, Tang Defu, a qigong master of Hunan Provincial Sports Commission, introduced Hexiangzhuang Qigong (founded by Zhao Jinxiang, honorary director of China Qigong Science Research Association) to Hunan, and first promoted it in Changsha and Changde. Hexiangzhuang Qigong is characterized by the combination of dynamic and static movements, relying on recuperation, simple movements, easy learning and practice, and quick sense of qi, which can dredge meridians, treat diseases and strengthen the body. It belongs to the internal cultivation method, including five exercises and one Gong Zhuang, that is, six meridians breathing, earth-qi breathing, crane head breathing, crane drinking water and mixing elements into one. The final piling exercise is static.
