When Jiang Jiajun was young, he collected a large number of ancient boxing manuals and works, including Chen's Boxing Equipment Manual, Liangyitang Boxing Manual, Chen's Wenxiutang Boxing Manual, Chen's Family Biography, 336 Boxing Manual and Chen's Tai Ji Chuan, which brought extremely favorable conditions for Jiang Jiajun to learn boxing in an all-round way. He also made a lot of notes, textual research and research, up to 300 thousand words.
1964, Jiang Jiajun followed Tai Chi martial artist Mr. Hong for forty times. At Hongshi, he systematically studied the profound "principle" of Chen Tai Ji Chuan and the meticulous "method" of Chen Tai Ji Chuan. From Master Hong, he deeply realized Tai Ji Chuan's exquisite kung fu, skillfully overcame the human nature, and went deep into the right path of Tai Chi attack. Through more than 40 years of hard work and single-minded training, I feel what is the essence of Tai Ji Chuan in practice-martial arts.
In martial arts theory, Jiang Jiajun is a martial artist.
It should be said that it is very important and crucial for Jiang Jiajun, who has a deep understanding of the theory and practice of China traditional Wushu today, to follow Mr. Hong for 40 years, and to improve and leap after systematic study and practice, inspection and re-practice. It is impossible to learn and inherit China traditional Wushu in an all-round way, divorced from practice, or without enough practical experience, and it is impossible to truly understand the true meaning of China traditional Wushu. Jiang Jiajun is well aware of this. In his view, it can only be said that it is a process of learning martial arts by oneself and moving limbs. Without practice, it is equivalent to wandering halfway on the road of learning and inheriting China traditional Wushu, unable to explore the true meaning of Wushu. Therefore, Jiang Jiajun has been moving forward on this road, constantly moving forward, although the trek to explore the true meaning of martial arts is rugged and arduous. Jiang Jiajun has practiced boxing twenty or thirty times a day for decades. Even when he is busy with other things outside, he will take time to live in a space, punch a few punches, do various exercises and exercise in his spare time waiting before dawn on his way to work. If he is at home, besides practicing boxing every morning, he takes a dozen disciples to move and practices in various ways and never stops.
Jiang Jiajun is a rare martial arts researcher who pays attention to theory and practice. He was not afraid of hardships, did not hesitate to sweat, practiced hard for years, devoted himself to studying the boxing scores, proverbs and works left by his predecessors, and constantly summed up his experience, which made him have a deeper understanding of the theory, techniques and tactics of Wushu.
"Hand-eye movement" is a famous saying that we often see and hear in the field of martial arts. It is a summary of the requirements of the predecessors in Wushu. No matter what kind of boxing school teachers, they often emphasize many aspects of the basic requirements for learning martial arts. But what Jiang Jiajun suggested should be "eyes, hands and body". He believes that in martial arts confrontation and fighting, if a kung fu master wants to defeat his opponent, he must always look at the other side, and his eyes are the commander-in-chief of all actions. People's reaction is to observe each other's every move with their eyes and command their limbs and trunk to respond accordingly. Therefore, the importance of eye observation makes it the first priority, ahead of manual operation. The position difference between "eye-hand" and "hand-eye" reflects the martial artists' understanding of the practical application of martial arts and their understanding of modern scientific knowledge. This is a conceptual problem of Wushu theory.
Jiang Jiajun believes that spiral strength and silk-binding strength are important features of Tai Ji Chuan Kung Fu, and the practice and application of spiral strength and silk-binding strength are manifested in the movements of gloves and the natural response of attack and defense. In Tai Ji Chuan's moves and all kinds of running and spinning, there are all kinds of spirals with different sizes and directions. These rotational movements can be divided into two types: rotation and revolution. In the process of Tai Ji Chuan's practice, it is not common for many people who practice Tai Ji Chuan at will or whose purpose is unknown. This kind of body rotation is a fitness activity to exercise the body, not the content of Wushu research. Therefore, the spiral rotation of Tai Ji Chuan's offensive and defensive moves is just like the effect of a screw drilling into wood and a self-tapping screw drilling into aluminum plate, and it is also like a fast-rotating wooden post, which can bounce off the flying sharp weapon without being hit. The movement form and trajectory of this kind of attack and defense action completely conform to the mechanical principle, and it is also a content of Wushu research. How to master the size, direction and strength of the spiral circle, and how to cooperate with the multi-directional movement of the limbs, trunk, neck and whole body are your practical experience and improvisation in Tai Ji Chuan. All these theories can be clearly seen and expressed in Jiang Jiajun's boxing training and practice. That's why boxers know whether there is one at a time.
Regarding Tai Ji Chuan, a traditional martial arts skill in China, Jiang Jiajun analyzed Tai Ji Chuan's rigid-flexible relationship from the perspective of martial arts concept with a dialectical attitude. He thinks that Tai Ji Chuan's softness is "loose", "round" and "quiet"; At the same time, Tai Ji Chuan and other excellent boxing styles, such as Shaolin Boxing and Xingyiquan, also have a "rigid" side. Tai Ji Chuan's rigidity is "tight", "fierce" and "fast". Tai Ji Chuan's kung fu is the same as Shaolin Boxing and Xingyi Boxing, with the same purpose. This is the essence of Tai Ji Chuan, which belongs to martial arts.
As the saying goes, Tai Ji Chuan is "combining rigidity with softness", but here "softness" refers to the methods and skills that can overcome the softness in rigidity, not softness, not softness and softness with no strength in the whole body, but softness and softness. Jiang Jiajun believes that in addition to "softness can overcome rigidity" and "combining rigidity with softness", "rigidity can overcome rigidity" and "rigidity can overcome softness" should also be added. It depends on practice and mastery of kung fu. It is not easy to achieve "looseness" and "roundness" well. Mr Jiang Jiajun told me that even now, he still lags far behind his teacher Hong. Shi Hong's feeling of looseness, softness and roundness is his lifelong pursuit.
Teaching methods martial artist Jiang Jiajun
Jiang Jiajun's confrontation with his disciples was not a game, but actually a war of resistance. Feng Taifu, a disciple of Jiang Jiajun in Huai 'an, Jiangsu Province, recalled that when he visited Jiang Jiajun in Xuzhou more than ten years ago, he witnessed Jiang Jiajun and his disciples Liu Hongli and Lu Shibin trying their hand at Yunlong Park in Xuzhou. He said that the subjects were either cut off by Master Jiang and made to fly more than ten feet, or forced to let their feet off the ground and fall back with a big somersault. At the same time, Jiang's combination of rigidity and softness is not bad at all in time, direction, angle and method. He said it wasn't mentoring, it was just wrestling, all kinds of wrestling.
Even at the public performance, Jiang Jiajun's demonstration to his disciples was a real battle. 1988 1 1 At the Tai Chi Master Seminar held in Guangzhou in 10, Jiang Jiajun and disciple Liu Hongli gave two internal and public demonstrations of Tai Chi Masters in Baiyun Mountain and Liwan Gymnasium respectively. They experimented with Tai Ji Chuan's unique beat, and its loose, flexible, quick and crisp attack and defense made the participants shine. Jiang Jiajun's understanding and mastery of Tai Ji Chuan is not something that ordinary people can achieve by speaking with their mouths and exercising. Their wonderful demonstration made the participants understand that Tai Ji Chuan is a martial art, a crystallization of hardship and sweat. After the demonstration, Liu Hongli lay in bed for three days and had a bad fall. After years of hard study, training and practice, Mr. Jiang Jiajun, who is over 60 years old, can fight and make enemies at any time. At the same time, it also brought out a group of martial arts descendants with actual combat experience. Today, with the rapid development of modern science and technology in the era of hot weapons, it is really commendable that Mr. Jiang Jiajun and his disciples are so fearless, willing to work hard and tirelessly study and inherit the martial arts "infatuation" that seems to spread the traditional martial arts culture in China.
It takes time, energy and sweat for a real martial artist to be able to start work when necessary, dare to start work and dare to defeat his opponent. Jiang Jiajun often mentioned that in 1995, he took several disciples to visit Jinan. Mr. Hong was 90 years old, and he could make Jiang Jiajun do a somersault the moment he met him in Jiang Jiajun. He said that he thought the teacher was 90 years old, and his strength could not match him, but the teacher let him use it casually, and he didn't dare to make much effort. Who knows, as soon as the two sides fought, he was knocked to the ground by the teacher's skillful and accurate use of skills and strength. It is conceivable that Master Hong's kung fu and China's martial arts are profound, which shows us that the road to explore the true meaning of martial arts is long, arduous and hard-won.
Study hard and bear fruitful results.
Personal influence Jiang Jiajun is not only a tireless seeker of the true meaning of Wushu, but also a dedicated communicator of Wushu culture.
Jiang Jiajun has few disciples, but he is very strict with them. He not only preached and taught, but also paid more attention to spreading morality. Jiang Jiajun said that the content of martial arts culture is very extensive, besides the boxing method of physical activities, there are also various cultures contained in boxing method. In his early years, he studied under several Tai Ji Chuan masters, and the teacher was very strict with him. First of all, he instilled the tradition of respecting teachers and valuing Taoism in the martial arts world. He has studied boxing for decades and has great respect for many teachers who have taught him successively. In my contact with him for more than ten years, whenever I mention Zhao Chen Pi, Hong and other teachers, I feel nostalgic and fond, and I am moved by the reappearance of teachers' inculcation. After remembering Mr. Hong's article, he wrote: "Every time I read my teacher, I never forget it." "When I was studying and practicing boxing, I always felt that the teacher showed a kind smile, which seemed to be comforting and encouraging ..." These were the true reflections of Jiang Jiajun's feelings. He often mentioned that he took many disciples to visit Master Hong several times in Shandong in his later years, and he also stood beside Master Hong to listen to his teachings. It is precisely because of this kind of education that Jiang Jiajun always puts moral education first when teaching his disciples and students. In his view, it is the first important thing to spread China's traditional Wushu culture and pass on China's traditional good morality to students.
Jiang Jiajun has always wanted to teach both disciples and students the correct concepts and techniques of martial arts. They say that it is a kind of procrastination that future generations only teach unreasonable movements and do not show them in practice. Therefore, his disciples and students also respect Mr. Jiang very much, and the relationship between teachers and students is quite close.
Apprentices are also interesting. Many disciples and students of Jiang Jiajun didn't believe that Tai Ji Chuan was a martial art at first, but all thought that Tai Ji Chuan was just a kind of aerobics. They believe that Tai Ji Chuan's Kung Fu really exists after Kung Fu experiments and various forms of practice, so they worship him as a teacher and turn to study Tai Ji Chuan's Kung Fu. For example, in the 1980s, a group of young men who practiced boxing, Sanda and other kinds of boxing in Luohongyuan, Guangdong and Huaiyin, Jiangsu, were convinced that Tai Ji Chuan was good at kung fu and worshipped Jiang Jiajun as their teacher. These young people have become local martial arts experts after watching the Chen-style Tai Ji Chuan demonstrated by Jiang Jiajun at a martial arts observation meeting in Jiangsu Province. For example, Feng Taifu of Huaiyin recalled that when Huaiyin studied with Jiang Jiajun, he wrote: "... I interviewed Jiang for the first time in Xuzhou. I asked Master Jiang, if the opponent is a Shaolin boxing practitioner or a boxing practitioner, how should Tai Chi practitioners deal with it? Master Jiang replied that there should be a way. ..... Master Jiang said,' Well, just punch, don't mention it, it's really hard! Don't worry, but I promise I won't hurt you. You can rest assured, "with his words, my heart is much more relaxed and I have no tension at all." I put on a boxing posture, and my left fist kept waving to explore the truth. But Master Jiang looked at me calmly. I made a sudden effort, and my left hand slipped forward. At the same time, my left straight fist was as fast as a meteor and went straight to Master Jiang's face. But my left fist didn't hit Master Jiang in the face, but I saw Master Jiang's right hand flash in front of my eyes, and my left face was hit by Master Jiang's hand, so I didn't have time to react. Although Master Jiang's hand only touched me lightly, it still surprised me. I didn't expect his movements to be so fast, I thought his punches were fast enough ... "Feng Taifu also talked about that he continued to hit Jiang Jiajun in other ways and was knocked down by Jiang Jiajun's" latecomer ",as well as other young men who tried their best, and even some people tried Jiang Jiajun's Tai Ji Chuan Kung Fu by sneak attack. At that time, Xu Wenlong, a famous boxer in Huaiyin, practiced boxing for 20 years and was good at Shaolin boxing. Later, he attacked Tai Chi as a pusher. After studying with Jiang Jiajun, he was impressed by his superb skills. The next day, he invited his ally Wang Shuchun to come and learn from Jiang Jiajun again. After contact, they admired Jiang Jiajun's Taiji House, so they urged Jiang Chuanquan in Huaiyin. These young people later became disseminators of martial arts culture. They teach boxing skills locally and educate the blind. In this way, there are many Wushu learners from Guangdong, Anhui, Henan, Jiangsu, Heilongjiang and other parts of the country.
Jiang Jiajun's disciples got the guidance of a master and made gratifying achievements in the national Tai Ji Chuan Sword (Pushing Hands) Championship and Wushu Exhibition. Among them, disciples Wu Huaqiang, Yao, Feng Taifu, Chen Guangyou, Chen Zhengping and Tian Youyun won gold, silver and bronze medals respectively, which had a good influence on people's re-understanding of Tai Ji Chuan and made people see that Tai Ji Chuan not only had routines,
In recent years, Jiang Jiajun's accomplishments in Tai Ji Chuan martial arts have been recognized by more and more martial arts lovers, who come here to invite him to spread boxing and train pushers and Sanshou. Jiang Jiajun is always enthusiastic about teaching and tireless.
Personally, people praised Jiang Jiajun as a famous teacher in Tai Ji Chuan, but Jiang Jiajun said that his martial arts background and skills were far from those of Mr. Hong. He always says that he is a failed old student of Mr. Hong Jun. This is of course his modest words, but it also reflects his determination to pursue the true meaning of martial arts and inherit and spread the excellent martial arts of Master Hong and his predecessors. Jiang Jiajun said that although he is 60 years old, he will continue to explore and practice and devote his life to spreading China's excellent traditional Wushu culture.
