Fuxin is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Liaoning Province, located in the northwest of Liaoning Province, and can go directly to Beijing and Tianjin via Jinzhou to the south. North through Tongliao to Huolinhe mining area; East to Shenyang and Liaodong coastal cities; West to Chaoyang and Chifeng in Inner Mongolia, it is the traffic artery of western Liaoning. Fuxin is adjacent to Horqin Sandy Land in the north, Liaohe Plain in the east and Nuerhu Mountain in the west, which belongs to the transitional zone between Inner Mongolia grassland and rocky mountain areas in North China. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast, with Xihe Basin and Liuhe Plain in the middle. Fuxin is a semi-arid continental monsoon climate in the northern temperate zone, which is characterized by high temperature, more precipitation and less sunshine.
