In the process of losing weight in the past two years, Kalpa's diet and exercise plan have also changed a lot. At first, he entered an infinite loop: he would lose some weight first, then rebound and keep it around 196 kg. After struggling to find a way to lose weight that suits him, he decided to re-plan. He said, "I can't find anyone to help me, so I have to rely on myself."
By studying and studying a series of related knowledge such as calorie consumption and intake, Kalpa began to change his way of looking at food. In the past, he knew nothing about food. Before eating, he never thinks about the calories and nutrients they contain, but only chooses his favorite and delicious food.
He used to eat a lot of junk food, such as pizza, French fries, desserts and fast food. But it is precisely because of bad eating habits that even if you take time to exercise, your figure will not change significantly. Now, through strict diet control, he insists on exercising three days a week and exercises six abdominal muscles.
Kalpa believes that his success cannot be separated from the following three points:
First, control calorie intake.
At first, Kalpa ate too many calories every day. Later, through research and study, he calculated that he needed to consume about 2600 calories a day, and then balanced this value with diet and exercise.
Second, achieve a balanced diet.
Junk food contains extremely high calories, salt and sugar, which is the chief culprit of obesity. Kalpa improved his eating habits and adhered to a balanced diet. For example, a lunch may include chicken breast, brown rice and many vegetables.
Third, don't embarrass yourself.
Don't demonize food, for example, occasionally use "food reward" to help you adjust your mentality so that you can stick to your original goal.
Kalpa has also become a frequent visitor to the gym in the past two years. He spends four days a week doing aerobic exercise and strength training. In addition to exercising abdominal muscles, he also likes to exercise chest and shoulder muscles through barbells, bench presses and push-ups. In the past, Kalpa could not even complete a standard push-up, but now it is only a small part of daily exercise. He weighs only 136 Jin now, but he still wants to exercise more muscles.
Kalpa's fitness journey has not stopped. At present, he is still exercising hard and sharing his experience with his neighbors and children to let them know the importance of a balanced diet and scientific exercise. Children's words are unscrupulous, and their evaluation can always reflect their exercise results most intuitively; At the end of each short training, Kalpa always asks his daughter if she has made progress, and her daughter has become the biggest motivation for him to keep exercising.
