Introduction to Qatar Football Stadium:

Lourseyre stadium

This is the newest and largest of the eight stadiums in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in 2022. From the group stage to the final stage, there are competitions held here at every stage. Lourseyre Stadium is located in Lussel New Town 15km north of the capital Doha, and was built by China Railway Construction. The project started on 20 17 and was officially completed at the end of last year. The whole project is estimated to cost $767 million. The appearance of Luzel Stadium is similar to a huge golden bowl, and the facade is divided by triangular grids, inspired by Islamic date palm bowls and enamel lanterns.

974 stadium

Why is it called 974 Stadium? Because this stadium consists of 974 containers, and 974 is also the international area code of Qatar. From the appearance, this stadium is like a giant Lego block of various colors. Being close to the seaside, the sea breeze will also help to alleviate the heat in the stadium to some extent. In this World Cup, five group matches and 1 1/8 finals will be hosted here. It is worth mentioning that this is the first completely detachable stadium in the history of the World Cup. As a temporary stadium, it will be demolished and converted into a green space after the World Cup.

Tent stadium

The tent stadium is located in Khor, Qatar, 46 kilometers away from downtown Doha, and was built on 20 19. At the end of last year, this stadium hosted five games of 202 1 Arabian Cup, including the opening match and the final. As the second largest stadium in this World Cup, Tent Stadium will host eight games, including the opening ceremony and the opening match.

The design of the tent stadium is inspired by the traditional tents used by nomadic people in the Gulf region, and is equipped with an innovative cooling system, which can cooperate with the sunshade roof to reduce the internal temperature of the stadium. In 2020, this stadium won the five-star certification of "Global Sustainable Development Assessment System", becoming the second stadium in FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in 2022 after educating city sports. After the World Cup, the stadium superstructure will be demolished and transformed into a five-star hotel. In addition, shopping centers, restaurants, gyms and other facilities will be rebuilt in the stadium.

Atumama stadium

Atumama Stadium is located in the southwest of Doha, and its design is inspired by the white knitted hat called "Gahfiya" commonly worn by men in the Middle East. The outer wall is covered with perforated plates of nearly 25,000 square meters, which is snow-white and lace-like. The roof of the stadium is a cable structure covered with white film.

202 1 Qatar Emirates Cup is the first competition hosted by this stadium. There will be five group matches in this World Cup, 1 1/8 final and1/4 final. After the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar, part of the roof structure of Atumama Stadium will be demolished, and the capacity will be reduced to 20,000. A sports clinic and a 60-room boutique hotel will be built here.

Akanu cloth stadium

The design of Akanu Cloth Stadium was inspired by the sail of Qatar dhow, a traditional fishing boat in Qatar. The streamlined white outline of the stadium is similar to a sail blown by the wind, and a large amount of engineering wood is used in the roof, which is very similar to the hull of a sloop.

Among these new stadiums for FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 in 2022, the Nubu Stadium in Aka is the oldest. 20 19 May, the Qatar Emirates Cup between Alsad and Duhail kicked off at the stadium. Akanu Stadium also hosted the 2020 AFC Champions League Final and the 20021Arabian Cup. In this World Cup, five group matches and 1 1/8 finals will be hosted here. The defending champion France will open the defending chapter in this stadium.

Ahmed bin Ali Stadium

This stadium was built on the site of the old Ahmed Ben Ali Stadium. The old stadium was demolished in 20 15 and officially completed five years later. 65438+February, 2020 18, the brand-new Ahmed Ben Ali Stadium was officially put into use, which happened to be Qatar National Day. The most distinctive element of this stadium is the light exterior wall covering an area of 39,000 square meters, which is composed of multimedia screens covered with translucent metal screens. The exterior wall depicts the typical elements of Qatari architecture.

Themes appearing on the multimedia screen include: family values, desert beauty, local animals and plants, import and export trade. In this World Cup, five group matches and 1 1/8 finals will be hosted here. After the World Cup, it will become Al Rayan's new home. The area around the stadium is planned to be transformed into six football fields, cricket fields and horse riding fields for local residents.

Education city stadium

Education City Stadium is located in Doha University Town, which is 15km away from downtown Doha. Before the official construction of the stadium, more than 650,000 cubic meters of desert soil was cleared. The roof of the stadium is covered with metal plates, and the whole structure is arranged in a diamond shape. The facade is decorated with 5,200 triangles, which are connected with each other to form a diamond-like shape, which will change color with the sunlight, so it is called "diamond in the desert".

20 19 May, Education City Stadium became the first stadium in Qatar to receive a five-star rating from the global sustainable development assessment system. This stadium has hosted Qatar domestic league, World Club Cup, AFC Champions League and Arabian Cup. In 2020, Bayern Munich won the second World Club Cup here in the team's history. In this World Cup, Education City Stadium will hold five group matches, 1 1/8 finals and1/4 finals.

Khalifa International Stadium

This is the oldest of the eight stadiums in this World Cup and the usual home of Qatar's national team. The Khalifa International Stadium was built in 1976, and was named after the former Qatari Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani. The stadium has undergone many renovations and expansions, from the initial 20,000 people to the current 40,000 people.

There will be six group matches in this World Cup, 1, 1/8 finals and 1 finals, among which two Japanese group matches against Germany and Spain will be held here. Japan once left a good memory on this stadium-the Asian Cup of 2011,and it was at Khalifa International Stadium that the Japanese team defeated the Australian team with 1-0 and won the championship.
