For a typical 1000 jigsaw puzzle, in order to make the tool set on the die completely cut through the cardboard, the machine tool is required to generate a pressure as high as 700 tons during operation. The mold (printing plate) of jigsaw puzzles is usually made of plywood. The modeler first draws or burns grooves on the template according to the assembly pattern of the jigsaw puzzle pieces, and then inserts the blades into the grooves one by one to assemble the tool set. The surface of the cutter set should be covered with a layer of elastic material, usually foam rubber, which is used to eject the cardboard parts from the holes of the cutter set after printing.
One-sided puzzle
Most of the pictures in the jigsaw puzzle are based on natural scenery, architecture and some famous patterns. Castles and mountains are two traditional themes, but any pictures and images can be used as materials for puzzles. Some companies also offer the service of putting private photos into puzzles.
Double-sided puzzle
Other kinds of puzzles are printed with patterns on both sides of the chess pieces, and players can assemble them according to the patterns on both sides. At the same time, the difficulty of the game has also increased, because it is difficult for players to determine which side is right as far as the pieces in their hands are concerned.
