Why?

Judging from the composition, our body is mainly composed of several parts-bones, internal organs, lean muscle tissue (hereinafter referred to as muscle), water and fat.

Obviously, the first two parts are basically fixed; Muscle, as a power source, is the main place of heat consumption, because both bones and internal organs need to move through muscle contraction and expansion; Fat is a kind of energy storage material, an ultra-high energy fuel for human body, and an energy source consumed by every muscle exercise.

To make an inappropriate analogy, if the human body is regarded as a car, muscles are engines and fat is gasoline. As long as the car starts, you have to ensure the supply of gasoline, otherwise you can only stop in the street and call for help. If the size of the fuel tank matches the horsepower of the engine, of course, it can fly away with the help of the wind accelerator; The engine horsepower is small and the fuel tank is large, so the car naturally cannot run.

By the way, the body fat rate, that is, the proportion of body fat weight to the whole body weight, is 17%~25% for girls and 10%~ 18% for boys.

My body fat rate is between 16% and 17%, which is low. Under normal circumstances, I should be able to see my back muscles and obvious abdominal muscles. However, I don't have any muscles. Then this car has a small horsepower and a small fuel tank. Not only will the power be insufficient, but the endurance will definitely be weak.

The above are all thin people without fat and muscle, and there is a scientific explanation for why there is a lack of physical strength and brain power.

After all, when I was young, I was full of energy and I could get some exercise by exercising more, so the problem has never been highlighted. In the past two years, with the growth of age and the reduction of long-term desk work, I have two obvious feelings:

1, easy to fatigue, and the recovery period after fatigue is also long. It used to be nothing to walk from the second ring road to the fourth ring road, but now I feel exhausted after walking for half an hour; I used to sleep tired and continue to fight chicken blood the next day, but now I feel I can't wait for a week.

2. Due to the poor muscle strength and insufficient support and buffering, there will be many problems when the skeletal joints are under great pressure, such as slight scapulohumeral periarthritis, knee joint problems, slight deformation of the cervical spine and the middle and lower spine.

Many people of the same age have these problems. With the growth of age, after the peak period, the physical function can begin to decline, and the power of the engine is insufficient. However, although the trend of physical aging is irreversible, it can be delayed by exercise.

Because thinness is the beauty in society, people with high fat content are popular with fat-reducing exercise, which not only enhances muscle strength, but also delays the pace of aging with the awakening of physical function. So people who exercise regularly will feel that their skin is getting better, their spirit is getting better, their mood is getting better, and then they are addicted to fitness. That's because their brains also like this state of youth.

But many thin people have completely lost the motivation to exercise because there is no need to lose weight. This is not only prone to bone and joint problems, but also with the growth of age, once the muscles relax, there is no fat bottom, leaving only a layer of dry skin, the whole person's vitality will completely collapse.

Therefore, we can also see in life that lean old people look older than slightly fat old people. Even if the engine is aging, there will be more gasoline in reserve and slightly stronger endurance.

Thin people who can't get fat naturally must gain muscle if they want to exercise. With the growth of muscles, the body will slowly adjust the fat content to supply enough energy, so it will look stronger than before. However, thin people can never gain muscle to a burly degree, because your body shape has been locked by the genes in your mother's stomach.

So the fuel tank is smaller than the human fuel tank. In order to keep the power moving forward for 50 years, thin people should exercise harder than fat people.
