Yoga is mainly about flexibility and stability. General gym equipment can only increase muscle strength, but physical strength needs to be coordinated, so flexibility and stability are also very important. But the equipment can't provide this kind of training, so generally, in addition to going to the gym, we should combine yoga (stretching and balance), martial arts (reaction speed and balance), jumping (body flexibility and coordination), running (cardiopulmonary function), swimming (cardiopulmonary and body coordination) and rock climbing (coordination and stability).
In fact, most of the sports we do require a high degree of physical coordination. And this is the main purpose of fitness. In other words, we do the most things with the least effort. Obviously, if you only rely on equipment to exercise, you can't achieve this goal. Instruments are only auxiliary tools. But many people who go to the gym put the cart before the horse. If so, going to the gym is better for both body and mind than going to the square dance.
