The operation is fast and accurate, which can be worn by both hands and can be rotated 180 degrees. Quite awesome, and the operation experience is the best among the three watches.

9BARO adopts the right three-button+touch screen operation, which is quite satisfactory, but opening the touch screen will accidentally touch the keys when exercising, and the bent hand will also accidentally touch the keys.

This watch can't be worn by both hands, but SUUNTO 7, 5 and 3 can, and it's quite charming.

In vibration feedback, both F6XPS and VERTIX use linear motors, so the vibration feedback is crisp and powerful. 9BARO uses a rotor motor, and the vibration feedback is weak and slow.

The function of lifting hand backlight is very practical and convenient. Both F6XPS and VERTIX have independent backlight keys, which can be set to raise the hand backlight all day/after all day. However, Songtuo 9BARO does not have this function, and it takes two hands to check the time at night.

When I'm at fun run, I usually turn on the normally bright backlight for the convenience of viewing sports data and improving safety.

VERTIX has a light-emitting mode, which always lights the backlight and consumes low power; 9BARO can be set to turn on the backlight in the exercise record and turn it off automatically after the exercise; F6XPS needs to be turned on in the system settings, which is a complicated process.

However, the backlight of buttons, warnings and handles during activities is set to sunset, and after the display time is set to be always on, the backlight is not turned on during daytime exercise, and it is always turned on at night.

If you need to turn on the backlight during the day and turn it off at night, you can use the backlight button to control it, which is better than the other two, but it needs to be explored slowly and the process is more painful.

Jiaming F6XPS supports solar charging, which is a precedent in GPS sports watches. The technology and craft are really awesome, but the actual effect is not so good.

Its mirror diameter is 36mm, the solar panel is not large, the conversion rate is not high, and it will not be charged at full power all the time due to the influence of illumination angle and intensity.

So in actual use, I didn't feel the obvious changes brought by solar charging. When charging, I still rely on the charger. Solar charging can only be used as an alternative in extreme cases.

LiveTrack is a very good function. You can let your family and friends know where you are at any time during the exercise, but there are many restrictions. You need Bluetooth to connect your mobile phone, and your mobile phone needs mobile data networking. If you can use GPS signal, this function will be better.

Offline map navigation, music and payment are the functions of smart watches. Because there is no touch screen, it will be more troublesome to move keys when viewing offline maps. Moreover, the map file is large, the navigation will be slow and stuck, and the accuracy is average.

In terms of endurance, VERTIX stands out, with an average of 5 hours of daily exercise per week, and its endurance can reach about 30 days. The endurance of F6XPS is 18-20 days, and 9BARO is about 15 days.

In the same way as GPS, I carry these three watches at the same time in the same exercise, which turns on photoelectric heart rate, route navigation and double-star positioning. Power before exercise 100%. After 4 hours and 27 minutes of exercise, the power of VERTIX is 92%, that of F6XPS is 88%, and that of 9BARO is 79%.

Generally speaking, the full battery life of VERTIX is 56.25 hours, F6XPS is 37.5 hours, and 9BARO is 2 1.42 hours.

In terms of route navigation, after I imported the same route file into the watch, the three watches interpreted the distance and height differently, so it was impossible to judge who was more accurate, but the altitude curve interpreted by F6XPS was not accurate.

Judging the height, the forward running and reverse running of the route will pass through the elevation pile, and the height reading of the elevation pile is the closest twice, followed by VERTIX, and F6XSP has the largest error.

During the navigation process, all three watches will remind the direction in different ways. F6XPS also has sound and vibration rotation tips, which is quite good, but I turned it off because I was bored.

Although I ran according to the predetermined route, 9BARO sometimes reminded me to deviate from the route, and later reminded me to return to the route, which was confusing.

Altitude navigation is a page that I often open in cross-country running, and I can distribute my physical strength according to altitude navigation.

All three watches can correctly display altitude navigation, but F6XPS can't reflect the true altitude trend of the route when running forward, and the altitude curve is accurate when running backward, but it doesn't navigate.

9BARO and VERTIX can work normally whether they run forward or backward.

VERTIX is undoubtedly the best in route navigation. You can view the route and height by zooming, or you can move through the touch screen. 9BARO can only zoom the route, altitude navigation can't zoom, and you can't move to view it; F6XPS will get stuck when switching maps, and altitude navigation will fail when running backwards. The experience was really bad.

After the exercise, I compared the tracks generated by three watches with the original navigation route on Google Earth, and the results were not much different from the original navigation route. However, in the corner with dense vegetation and poor signal, VERTIX and F6XPS both drift, F6XPS deviates greatly, and 9BARO is closer to the original navigation route.

The distances displayed by the three watches are also different, with 9BARO being 26.59 km, F6XPS being 27.06 km and VERTIX being 28.28 km.

VERTIX and F6XPS both have 3D distance function, which is more in line with the actual distance.

5. Comparison and summary Generally speaking, all three sports watches have good performances, each with its own advantages and disadvantages, but I want to focus on Jiaming FENIX 6X PRO SOLAR.

It's the first time to use this model, and one of the more uncomfortable shortcomings is the card. It will appear when a large amount of data such as complex dial, map navigation and trajectory navigation are used.
