Is handstand good for hypertension?
At present, the number of people who died of cerebral hemorrhage has accounted for the first place in cardiovascular diseases. Relevant data show that gymnasts and acrobats who often do handstand exercises rarely suffer from high blood pressure or cerebral hemorrhage and die. In order to explore the influence of handstand exercise on hypertensive cerebral hemorrhage, the researchers monitored the changes of systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, stroke output, cardiac output and total peripheral resistance of 38 hypertensive middle-aged and elderly intellectuals in Petroleum University before and after handstand exercise class for two years. The results show that the exercise technique and intensity of handstand exercise are suitable for patients without serious cardiovascular disease, which provides scientific basis for the popularization of handstand exercise. According to the actual test, after two years of handstand exercise, the stroke output and cardiac output of the subjects have been significantly improved, but the pulse rate, total peripheral resistance and average arterial pressure have decreased to varying degrees. Thirty-eight people who practiced handstand were followed up for two years. Most of them were not affected by blood pressure, and no one had a cerebral hemorrhage. They all agree that since joining the inverted class, they have greatly improved their dizziness and weakness in the past, and they feel good about themselves and can stick to their work for a long time. The handstand test shows that handstand exercise can produce the following effects in preventing hypertension and cerebral hemorrhage. It can improve stroke and cardiac output, lower blood pressure and delay vascular aging. Scientific physical exercise can certainly lower blood pressure, and can also prevent age-related blood pressure from rising. Some people have studied gymnasts and acrobats who often do handstands for many years and found that their blood volume is relatively increased, their blood is diluted, their hematocrit is decreased, their peripheral resistance and blood viscosity are lower than those of ordinary people, which has obvious antihypertensive effect, and few people suffer from hypertension or die of cerebral hemorrhage. Our study also found that long-term handstand exercise can occur: the stroke output and cardiac output increase, the average arterial pressure and total peripheral resistance of pulse rate decrease, and blood pressure decreases significantly. The results of the researchers suggest that long-term handstand exercise may improve and delay the aging of blood vessels, and its mechanism may be the two-way regulation of handstand exercise. Exercise enhances the activity of vagus nerve-insulin system, forms vagus nerve advantage, reduces the sensitivity of myocardium to vasoconstrictors, but increases the sensitivity to metabolites or other vasodilators, enhances the vasodilation ability of blood vessels, and has a good buffer reserve. It has been reported that handstand exercise can enhance the relaxing factor ability of vascular endothelium, especially the vasodilation function of skeletal muscle, which leads to the decrease of peripheral resistance, which is beneficial to blood perfusion of cerebral microcirculation and has positive significance for preventing cerebral hemorrhage. The function of improving cerebrovascular elasticity and compression resistance is cerebral hemorrhage. Although there are many causes, the fundamental reason is that the increase of blood pressure exceeds the maximum pressure that the cerebral vessels can bear, thus causing cerebral hemorrhage. Therefore, how to reduce blood pressure and improve the elasticity of cerebral vessels, that is, enhance the compression resistance of cerebral vessels, has become the key to prevent cerebral hemorrhage.
