It is the first real estate project invested and developed by Beijing Vanke Group in Beijing. The community was completed and closed in September 2000, with a total construction area of 280,000 square meters. There are 9 parks, 84 buildings and 932 houses/kloc-0. Vanke City Garden Sunshine Senior League: Sunshine Senior League is a mass organization spontaneously organized by the elderly in the community. Since the establishment of 1998, it has a history of 13 years and has developed into a team of nearly 200 people. There are sunshine choir, folk dance team, ballroom dance team, childlike innocence choir, Tai Ji Chuan team, Beijing Opera team, fashion show team and table tennis team. The group has a sound organizational system, including articles of association, flags, songs and emblems. There is a work plan and activity arrangement every year, and important activities are recorded in words and videos. The Youth League Committee is the highest authority of the Youth League. It consists of the head and deputy heads, and is mainly responsible for organizing and implementing the resolutions of the Youth League Committee and handling daily work. The core members of the leadership are all retired veteran comrades who are enthusiastic about public welfare undertakings, have strong working ability and selfless dedication. The sunshine elderly group has played an important role in enriching the spiritual and cultural life of the community, spreading modern civilization and advocating a healthy, happy, United, friendly, civilized and harmonious community environment. Vanke City Garden City Flower Dance Team: The City Flower Dance Team was established in 1998, with 25 members, all of whom are retired people over 50 years old, and the oldest is 73 years old. Every Monday to Friday morning, members practice and rehearse in the clubhouse of Vanke City Garden, and every member of the dance team consciously forms a good intangible discipline system. Teacher Yan, the 73-year-old instructor of Chenghua Dance Team, is now a national second-class choreographer. Her choreographer won the Excellent Program Award of the Ministry of Culture, and the dance and arrangement in the team were completed by Teacher Yan himself. The Korean dance "Dae Jang Geum", which was directed by teacher Yan, was well received in performances in this community, Houshayu Town, Shunyi Bureau of Retired Veteran Cadres and China Association for Science and Technology, and was organized by "Sohu" real estate website in March 2006. "Bow Dance" and "Fishing Boat Singing Night" won the second prize in the 2007 Beijing Vanke System Art Show. "Fishing boat sings late" won the silver prize in the first national community fitness dance competition in June+10 this year.
In the past two years, the dance team began to gain the attention of social media. In 2007, the front page of Popular Science News reported the story of Teacher Yan and the team spirit of the dance team, which is harmonious and progressive, not afraid of hardship and insisting on training. At the same time, Workers' Daily, Beijing Youth Daily and Legal Evening News all reported it, and then BTV 1, BTV3, Charm Science and Fujian TV all interviewed Teacher Yan. Ballet Youth-Yan's Story was published by Shanghai Literature and Art Publishing House in the 9th issue of Golden Age in 2008. On August 20 10, shunyi tv station recorded and broadcasted two dances, One World, One Dream and My People, My Motherland. The dance "Juhuatai" won the second prize in the "I love my family" art competition of Dalong Cup. The dance "Let a Hundred Flowers Bloom" specially created for Shunyi Flower Expo won the gold medal in the second national community fitness dance competition, and won the excellent prize in the literary competition "Singing Safe Development and Building a Safe Shunyi". A group of 27 people from Vanke Chenghua Dance Team went to South Korea to participate in the "Colorful Autumn Rhyme-the Second National Talent Show for Middle-aged and Old People" and won the gold medal in the dance category for middle-aged and old people.
