This set of boxing was originally developed by Shanghai folk boxer Yang from some routines of Kongtong School. At first, she only practiced alone in Jing 'an Park in Shanghai every morning. Unexpectedly, after a long time, it aroused the interest of morning exercisers, especially female morning exercisers, and asked them what kind of boxing this was. At that time, Ms. Yang modestly thought that her gestures were just some fur, added some ideas and made some adaptations. It is not an authentic flower fist and embroidered legs, so she was named after the ancient heroine Mulan, and "Mulan Boxing" was born. Perhaps the routine of Yulan Boxing is "like dancing like martial arts", which combines rigidity and softness, and there is no danger of hurting muscles and bones. So it was quite popular among young and middle-aged women at that time, and people came to "learn from the teacher" in an endless stream. Ms. Yang received many apprentices, the most famous of which was undoubtedly the seven disciples who were later called "Seven Fairies". They were also the first direct disciples of Ms. Yang.
After the death of Ms. Yang Wendi, many of her disciples followed the teacher and spread around, spontaneously forming folk schools: Wang style (Shi), Zhu Wenjian (Zhu Wenjian), Ying style (Fang), He (He) and Ling Jianda (Ling Jianda), which inevitably appeared a little congenital deficiency and formed Yulan Boxing with different styles and mutual affinity.
Perhaps because of the intervention of some force, Mulan Boxing finally had the opportunity to get rid of the narrow framework of various schools and form an elegant, scientific and more artistic system after a period of contention but constant disputes.
In the 1980s, Mr. Li Gang, then the police chief of Great World, had a unique eye and acted as a "Bole". He discovered the value of Mulan Boxing when the fashion was in the stage of folk circulation, and initiated the establishment of "China World Wushu Competition and Exchange Center", and later established the first Mulan Boxing activity organization in China "China Mulan Boxing World Association" with the approval of his superiors. Later, together with the staff, he invited representatives from various schools and people from all walks of life to conduct seminars and compilation activities. It refines and adds new connotations to various kinds of boxing, thus forming "China Mulan Boxing", which marks the development of Mulan Boxing to a higher level. From then on, Mulan Boxing finally got rid of the fate that folk fitness activities were scattered in the morning exercise team, and became a formal organization with "organization and discipline", with Shanghai World as its "base".
As the founder of "China Mulan Boxing", Li Gang realized that in order to develop Mulan Boxing, a complete set of perfect systems must be established as a powerful backing for its development. So, in his spare time, he hired a group of amateur and part-time senior teachers to compile books collectively. After careful planning, conception and creation, China Mulan Boxing has formed a scientific system of twelve basic routines, ten additional routines, ten excellent performance routines and six simplified routines. From the name of the routine to the boxing spectrum, from the form of expression to the pattern of the routine, from the use of props to the choice of music, a series of positioning have been made. As a result, Mulan Boxing began to flourish: 1992 was approved by the relevant state departments to make the world's first Mulan Boxing science and education film; 1April, 993, Shanghai Great World Mulan Boxing Art College was established. 1996 was selected as the first batch of national fitness projects by ten ministries and commissions of the central government (the first volume of China Physical Fitness Method Collection); 1July, 1994, the National Wushu Association announced that "Mulan Boxing is a new boxing of China 130"; 1In April, 1998, the National Sports Center introduced three prescribed routines of Mulan Boxing: fist, fan and sword. Since then, Mulan Boxing has been included in one of the martial arts events in every sports meeting.
Huajia Boxing is a kind of Kongtong Wushu, which was circulated among the people in Shanghai in the last century. Ms. Yang Wendi is recognized as the pioneer of Mulan Boxing. She established the earliest prototype of Mulan Boxing on the basis of Huajia Boxing.
Interestingly, where did Ms. Yang learn to gesture? In all the information about Mulan Boxing, this is always a mystery. Some people say that Ms. Yang learned it from a mysterious Jianghu expert. There is a saying that this mysterious master is actually Yan, the head of the Kongtong School.
Zhang's book "The Secret of My Kung Fu" mentioned that there really is such a mysterious master with a famous surname. It is quite famous in Shanghai Huaquan Daoquan Circle, but for some reason, with the passage of time, the name of this master is no longer mentioned by people. On the contrary, "Magnolia Boxing" has become more and more powerful through the unremitting efforts of Ms. Yang and her disciples. Li Gang was born in June, 1953, a native of Shanghai, and graduated from the Department of Engineering Mechanics of Tongji University. Chairman of China Mulan Boxing International Art Center, Director of China World Wushu Competition and Exchange Center, Honorary Chairman of Indonesian China Mulan Boxing National Headquarters, Honorary Dean of Australian Taiji Chuan Mulan Boxing Fitness College and Honorary Chairman of China Mulan Boxing World Federation. He is also the director of Shanghai Youth Art Talent Center, the executive vice chairman and secretary general of Shanghai Youth Sports Federation, and the dean of Shanghai Great World Mulan Boxing Art College. 1988, China's first women's boxing team was established in Shanghai World, and then held three consecutive Shanghai World Wushu Festivals. 1989, Mulan Peak in China was established. 1992, China Mulan Boxing was approved by the state to make the world's first Mulan Boxing science and education film. 1996 was listed as the first national fitness project by the state, and was selected as the first volume of China Physical Fitness Method Collection. 1996 cooperated with the National Wushu Academy to hold the first large-scale training course for Mulan Boxing coaches and counselors in Beijing. 1988 to 2005, led, planned, organized or led a team to participate in a series of national exchange competitions and international exchange activities.
