Kapok Island is an alluvial sandbar along the Mekong River. The island is famous for its 2000 tall kapok trees. It is an important tourist attraction in the special zone, attracting a large number of tourists every year.
Many buildings in Kapok Island were built by the Chinese side. Signboards of domestic and foreign enterprises are everywhere, and there are many China license plates and China people, as well as commercial streets selling China goods.
There was a boat on the river bank when the Mekong River case happened, so you can take photos as a souvenir. There is also an opium museum on the island to alert the world.
There is also a huge Buddha statue on a boat-shaped building by the river, which is about three or four stories high. It is called the largest Buddha statue in Thailand. Next to the Giant Buddha is the golden triangle archway with strong local flavor, facing the delta where the Mekong River meets the Mercer River.
The postcard shows the picture with the best angle-the Mekong River comes from the northeast, there is a small river on the left, which is the border between Myanmar and Thailand, and the island in the middle is a veritable golden triangle.
