Yexue Lake Scenic Area is located 25 kilometers north of Laiwu, formerly known as Yexue Reservoir. Built in 1985, it is one of the large reservoirs in Shandong Province, with a water surface of about 14 square kilometers. Yexue Lake used to be called Yexue Reservoir. From 65438 to 0993, a series of tourism development was carried out, and a tourist scenic spot featuring water playing by the lake, fishing, sand playing on the beach, water entertainment, cruise sightseeing and "Yexue Fish Head Soup" was formed.

In addition, Ye Xuehu mainly undertakes industrial and agricultural water use in Laiwu District and Gangcheng District of Jinan City. Every year, it supplies more than 20 million cubic meters of water to Jinan Laicheng Power Plant and Jinan Laiwu Power Plant, and 10 million cubic meters of water to Laigang, which is an important guarantee for Laigang to move towards a 10 million-ton steel plant.
