The story of several black people
It was dark in Ins on June 2nd, and everyone was expressing their protest against any discrimination in this way.

Black people's lives are important.

All beings are equal, and all life should be respected and cherished, not only between races, but also between species.

Many famous black people in China chose to share their stories and opinions at this time. If I don't listen to them, "discrimination" may be just a word to me, and after they say it, I suddenly have a more personal experience of living in a state of "discrimination".

A friend from Kentucky, USA, shared this passage:

Constantly remind myself that the white privilege I have (although I have always realized it) does not exist in the life of my black sisters or fans.

My son and husband just got back from fishing. Wearing white vests, they opened the window and let the music play all the way. At home, I never worried that they would be stopped by the police and lead to their death.

Because similar things happen many times every week or even every day, I don't need to worry or think about it, because I'm not a black man living in our country.

If you pay attention to the search, you will find that the situation I mentioned is happening everywhere.

If you don't like it, you can accept it. You don't need to argue with me.

My friend's name is Katie. She is keenly aware of her unconscious peace of mind and naturally has the privilege of being white. And when we live from the standpoint of black people, it is difficult to walk.

The sharing of the following blacks can give us a more intuitive feeling.

The first one is the founder and CEO of Off White and the artistic director of LV men's wear. Virgil Hablot, who published seven pages of his own text on ins. Let me translate it for you:

5: 38 pm on June 1 2020.

First of all, I want to say a few core facts.

I am a black man.

The dark one.

It's the kind that's particularly dark.

In Chicago, I go to the convenience store every day and worry that I will die halfway.

The real death threat exists in my daily life, and I have to stand on tiptoe carefully every day.

When I applied for a new job, I was afraid that I would not be hired.

I instinctively want to be extra polite. I did this because nine out of 10 people had already commented on me before I spoke.

Any contact with the police is fatal to me. In my instant interaction with the police, Off-White sneakers are meaningless, and it is useless for me to be the design director of off-white If I show my works of art everywhere, I can't make them look at me seriously.

"sir! Please come here! " It'll make my back cold. . .

My 39-year life may be destroyed at any time by a 1 sec intercom call: "There is a tall black man ..."

I also know that this is not just a racial issue. My parents immigrated from Ghana and there is no money in my account. I am very lucky. They trained me to grow up and gave me the ability to have a successful career. I know that other black people have less resources and don't get much preferential treatment like me, so they are more helpless and vulnerable than me. I also know that black women, gay people and transgender people have to bear more difficult struggles.

As a black man, whenever I see one of us become a victim of prejudice or systematic discrimination, I feel angry, sad and painful. I will be proud of every campaign against racial discrimination and police violence. Racial discrimination must end. It will really kill us.

Freud and several generations of black people were unjustly killed by the police, which disgusted me. Every policeman involved in these deaths should be prosecuted and convicted. Don't! Yong! In position. Doubt! Everyone in the world should protest in their own way.

Next, I want to apologize. ……

(In the following, Virgil Abloh explained and clarified her controversial posts about donating money and robbing shops, and publicized everything she had done for the black community and her future plans, so I won't translate them. )

As the design director of top brands, black people living in the upper class of society have to face the pressure of "discrimination" everywhere. We can't judge whether a person is a racist by his appearance, but we can't determine whether he is a racist by his appearance. In the unknown situation, out of self-protection, there will naturally be some psychological pressure, and everything will be cautious for fear of being labeled as a "nigger".

After reading the feelings of the literary and art circles, let's take a look at the feelings of black "veterans".

Next is a "male god" level figure. David? Goggins, he is the only person in human history who has completed three hellish elite training courses: US Navy Seals, Army Rangers and Air Force Tactical Air Traffic Control. He was labeled as "Mission Impossible". I will write a separate article to introduce his story. Here we have a simple understanding of his background:

He is a black man. A very strong and durable black man with the most elite military training. On June 2nd, David (/davidgoggins/) recorded a video about his views on current events:

This film was viewed by 13794 17 at 4: 25pm on June 3rd, Beijing time.

In the introduction, he talked about the current situation of 1 1 minute, which mixed personal experiences and thoughts. He can talk for hours about current problems. For all the victims and their families, David feels heartache for them. The victims are not only those who have lost their lives, but also all those who have suffered racial discrimination, gender discrimination or any other discrimination.

Let's look at the video content again. In this 1 1 minute video, David tells a little story about himself:

The Freudian incident brought back my worst memories. I am very angry. What makes me even more angry is that when I wrote my autobiography, I didn't even dare to write the facts. I grew up in a small city in Indiana, and I was afraid that writing it would affect the good people who still live there. But there are also some very, very bad people there, so every story in my book is true and accurate. When I published my book, many white people selectively forgot or denied the story that happened to me. Many white people even posted on social media saying, "That never happened to David." But you can go to Google and search for "the center of the Ku Klan, Indiana 1995", which happened at 10 minutes from my home.

When I was a child, a classmate's father came into Pizza Hut, who was all white at that time. The classmate's father said, "I don't want to see you sitting with this nigger in the future."

I went to school and parked my car outside. This is not a good car, but my car. When I came out of school, my car was sprayed with the words "Nigger, we will kill you".

In the Spanish class of Grade One in Senior High School, we always put our notebooks on the desk instead of taking them home. When I opened my notebook in class, I found a big photo on the front page, which said, "Nigger, we will kill you."

Another time, my cousin and I were walking down the street in Lakers jackets. When we saw us, we pulled over, pulled out our guns, dragged us over, and threatened to shoot us niggers.

The above is my early personal experience. When I was growing up, the Klan actually appeared in the parade on July 4th in 1995 ... (You can Baidu the Klan yourself. When I told these stories, many people actually said that these things never happened and did not exist at all. Can you imagine my anger? How can you expect people to change when they don't admit that these discriminations exist? For most of my life, similar things have always existed.

During my military career, I made many close friends. But I happened to choose some jobs that few African Americans would choose. So unfairness is the norm. But after bidding farewell to the anger of high school, I recalled that it was white people who helped me enter the army. After leaving the army, I joined the SEAL team and faced all kinds of problems. Do you know who supported me to complete the challenge? A white man! He made an exception for me. I am an angry black man, but I have many stories about white people helping me. I have published a book now, which is also one of Amazon's bestsellers. Do you know who helped me publish it? A white man!

I met some nice white people, but I also experienced too much discrimination and unfair treatment. Even they deny the existence of everything. But I found that the important node in my life is having a white man to help me. Now, I see that there are many whites among the protesters, which was impossible in the11990s. Among my fans, the vast majority are whites. They are listening to a black man's sharing, and they are receiving his encouragement. In my opinion, change begins with white people.

David Goggins' autobiography "I am invulnerable" contains the stories mentioned in the video. Friends who need inspiration can buy this book and have a look. I will also introduce it in a later article.

On the same day, the news of the Klan also appeared in media reports:

Finally, I will share with you a video, the famous Clark doll test:

Even naive children, even black babies, will choose white dolls as beautiful and good babies. When a black child points to a black doll and says, "This is a bad baby," sadness will spread. What's wrong?
