Wood floor has the advantages of beauty, wear resistance and environmental protection, and is more and more loved by consumers. However, the noble value of the wooden floor needs careful care to maintain its brilliance. Waxing the wooden floor is a necessary maintenance operation. How to wax the wooden floor? How to wax the wooden floor? Let's share the experience of wood floor maintenance.

Floor waxing pays attention to the right time, the right place and the right people, and wood floor waxing needs certain weather conditions. When waxing, you must choose sunny weather. If the humidity is too high in rainy days, it will produce white turbidity. Generally, floor wax will harden when the room temperature is below 5 degrees. Be sure to choose the right wax when waxing the floor. Solid wood floor should choose solid wax to prevent moisture from invading and block dust.

The waxing of wooden floors should be carried out step by step, and three steps are essential:

Step 1: clean the floor. Before waxing, don't wipe the floor with a rag containing chemicals, which will lead to poor adhesion of wax on the floor. Before waxing, the garbage and dust on the floor surface must be removed, which can be wiped with a vacuum cleaner or diluted neutral detergent.

Step 2: Dry the floor. After cleaning, carefully check and dry the residual detergent on the floor surface, especially in the groove, otherwise the surface will be white and swollen, and waxing can be done after the water is completely dry. According to different seasons, the drying time is different, and it usually takes only 10 ~ 20 hours in summer.

Step 3: Waxing. Shake the container filled with floor wax and mix well. Before waxing the room as a whole, try it locally in three inconspicuous places first, and then wax it as a whole after confirming that there is no abnormality. Then fully dip the floor wax with a clean rag or a special waxing mop, and carefully smear it according to the wood grain direction of the floor. Do not leave out the coating or uneven thickness. Keeping the thickness uniform is the key to waxing. Don't pour floor wax directly on the floor, otherwise it will produce stains and ring marks. Finally, polish it with imported machines, so that the floor will look brighter.

After waxing the wooden floor, wait until the floor is dry before walking on it. Floor waxing is to isolate air, moisture and dust after wax solidification, and at the same time play the role of anti-skid, wear-resistance and anti-static, so as to better maintain the floor and prolong its service life.
